Really nice hotel with very friendly stuff and big tasty breakfast. Quiet typical english street very close to underground station Tufnell Park- it's about 7 min away from. I reccommend.

Great quality/price. I would recommend it to anybody. I'm only wondering if it's still open.

I booked for 7 nights and for the cost of £35 per night I wasn't expecting much as this is dirt cheap for London.
Nicely situated in a quiet residential street a very short walk, about 10 mins for a fit person, from local shops, restaurants and public transport.
Hotel was apparently refurbished recently, this was clearly done on a small budget. My overall impression was one of pleasant surprise compared to other budget hotels that I have stayed in.
I had a room at the top of the hotel so it was very quiet although I don't know how busy the hotel was. The room was adequate for my needs, plenty of tea and coffee, clean and in good repair, it was also serviced daily. The furnishings were rock bottom being a couple of pieces of wood fixed to the wall and an alcove with a hanger rail in it, there were no drawers.
The bed was generally comfy once I had got used to the annoying plastic matress cover.
No iron in the room as advertised on the web site, I got one from the local Argos for about £3.80 so can't complain at that.
There was a general smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors but not in my room.
Breakfast was advertised as 'Full English' but was not as far as I'm concerned. It consisted of a bowl of cereal, Tea/Coffee, Fruit jiuce, 2 slices of toast, 2 slices of bacon, spoonful of beans and either scrambled or fried egg. It was freshly cooked to order though.
Staff were exeptionally friendly and a pleasure to be around.
I would stay there again if I was looking for a budget hotel in London.

My partner and I booked this hotel as we wanted to stop somewhere after our flight, so we could have a rest and travel home the next day. We checked the photos and reviews and it looked what would be a nice end to a lovely holiday. However, we were first shocked by the smell of the hotel. It smelt damp, the long warn corridors smelt damp, and to our disappointment our room didn’t smell very nice either. We were very tired after our flight and were looking forward to a nice sleep. OUR BED WAS DAMP! It was horrible, the pillows, the sheets were just damp! We couldn’t believe it! The photos also were misleading as the interior was run down, our en-suit was dirty, a BIG disappointment!
