The hotel is very nice and the staff super attentive.
Rooms are large and well furnished and bathrooms and beautiful, with both tub and shower.
We used the babysitting service and everything was perfectly organised for us.
The location of the hotel is excellent, just round the corner from Oxford Street but in a lovely , quiet area with many nice restaurants and bars.
Couple of downsides: we got only one rooms key and since my husband was working with my and son and I were on holiday we had different schedules and one key to share was the least convenient. Also, food is excellent quality but really expensive. Not sure that's real value for money, even in Central London.

Charlotte Street Hotel has fast become my favorite place to stay or grab coffee in London. The hotel is a design marvel, the restaurant is first class bistro style, the location is great and the hotel's cinema is unique. The clincher for me is the Botero sculpture that welcomes you in the lobby.

Like another Firmdale hotel I've stayed at, Charlotte Street is an example of modern British quality and style. The first night was not a good sleep due to a thoughtless resident in 'the penthouse'. What is it that people have to bang around at 02:00 am? Great amenities but why only child size bath robes? Wonderful, spacious suite (403). Luxurious, large bathroom. With large bath and arge shiwer cubice. Suite also as a separate loo. Service is consistently excellent here. Super
quality English breakfast. Good juice. Fine toast. Dinner also fine. A stone's throw and 10 mins walk from wonderful British Museum

The hotel is very closely modelled on the Covent Garden Hotel - rooms identical, including fabric co-ordinated manikins. Toiletries and set up were excellent, service was superb - breakfast tea with wake up call was a great start to the day. Both Dinner and Breakfast was very high quality. I was in the hotel for a team meeting and unfortunately the meeting room was in the basement with no natural light, whilst nicely upholstered, I found it oppressive and noisy, similarly we had dinner in a strange private dining room which felt like a bolt on to the rest of the hotel. Go to stay, not for business meetings.
