Just stood two nights with tis wonderfull Boutique Hotel and was positivly surprised. Up to now London was standing for (very) expensive hotels with low up to no value for money (pls see my last review of the Hilton Paddington). This time the nights were extraordinary expensive as well (GBP 340.-) but I liked what I saw. The hotel is located at the Covent Garden area in walking distance to the subway station(Tottenham Court Road). Everthing is very tasteful furnitured and you are not really feeling being in a hotel. Thanks to an upgrade my room (101) was huge and it was equiped on a five star level. Big double-bed, ok tv-set - with no foreign tv-channels-, radio in each room, DVD-plaver,etc.and a wonderfull bathroom with a separat shower. An unknown good feeling. The only thing what is not ok at this level is the missing business center. It really was an efford to print out my boarding pass. This is not acceptable for a business hotel like this. Anyhow the Charlotte Street hotel will be my choice again next time I'm in London.
