Walking distance to Holborn tube station which connects to 3 major Underground lanes. A relatively quiet street close to two parks. Staff at the hotel is friendly. My room (202) was quite big for London. Would definitely stay here again.

Tiny room, small double bed against the wall, otherwise it would not have been possible to get the bed into the room, had to climb into bed from the otherside, just enough to put your feet dowm and shuffle off to the equally confined space of the tiny bathroom, the information/photographs provided for promotion by the Grange Group was the most misleading I have ever come across (special effects photography!!!).

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff friendly and looked after our cases. Only quibble was the 'public' toilet - it didn't flush properly. We had a basement room which was large. Just be aware you get the low level noise of the undersground. But the bed was comfy.

This small hotel located just one block away from the British Museum and Russell Square and a five minute walk to the Hobron "Tube" station proved to be an excellent choice for my wife and I. Our room was large, nicely decored, comfortable and with a large modern bathroom. The room also had a small refrigerator and micro wave oven, which we did not use. The only slight negative was that our assigned room (#1) was located on the ground floor street side. The street traffic noise was not a problem with the windows closed, but in summer months this may be a problem, as the hotel is not air conditioned. Also the night window curtains had to closed at all times for privacy and to shield this room from the hotel exterior illumination lighting. Thus a court side or upper room might be preferred. Our included continental breakfast was quite good. All in all, we very much liked this hotel and would recommend it to other London visitors.
