We booked this B&B after seeing reviews on Trip A. When we saw the location (first time in London) we thought we had made a mistake as it near the end of the Picadilly line. BUT, we were surprised to find that it is a quick trip on the Tube and the Monaghans are the best! The breakfast Janice serves up is the best we had in our 3 weeks in the Scotland and England. They are most knowledgable about everything 'England' and so happy to help out with plans, suggestions etc while still respecting the guest's privacy. The room at the top is very spacious and comfortable, no issues with showers or hot water that we experienced elsewhere. We will definitely return to Bay Tree.

My husband and I had read that staying at B & B was the way to go. We found Bay tree through this site and it sounded perfect. I was nervous to stay only because I'm sort of shy meeting people for the first time so the thought of having breakfast with everyone made me nervous.... but from the moment we made the reservation to the moment we left I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and can't imagine ever staying anywhere else.

Upon arrival janice and james welcomed us and get us the wonderful run down of London. They pointed us places to get our barrings on the first day... but everyday we had an awesome breakfast and got great tips on things to see, places to eat and answer all our questions!!

Staying with James and Janice was like staying with my fun aunt and uncle!! ;) we loved talking to them. We also had the luck to have other guests who had been to London before and had stayed at the Bay Tree so it really felt like family.

We first learned about Bay Tree House while surfing the internet in preparation for a transatlantic cruise leaving from Harwich England. We wanted to start our journey with a two night stay in London and wanted to avoid the cruise line hotel suggestions. We were so lucky to be able to meet and stay with James and Janice. Since we had a year to prepare we emailed quite a few times for information and suggestions and James was always most accomodating with replies. Everything we planned worked like a charm. Our hosts were so genuinely warm and pleasant. Food was delicious and they couldn't have been more helpful in taking the time to give us maps and explicit directions which made a two day stay so enjoyable. The inn is so close to the Arnos Grove station that even at the end of a long day of sightseeing it was so easy to get HOME. There were four of us traveling together and we all can't speak highly enough about our stay at the Bay Tree Inn. Thanks Janice and James, hopefully we will meet again.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Bay Tree House Bed and Breakfast in London as we had tickets to see Les Mis at London's Queens Theatre. In this respect Bay Tree House was perfect due it being only a few minutes walk from Arnos Grove tube station. Being situated so near to the Piccadilly Line allows easy access to Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus stations which in particular is ideal for anyone planning a trip to a London theatre. As for the bed and breakfast itself the room we stayed in was both comfortable and beautifully furnished and the en suite bathroom provided numerous amenities. We could not have been made more welcome by Janice and James and the breakfast provided was not only delicious but filled with so much choice. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we both wished we could have stayed longer and would certainly consider staying there if we visit London again.
