I have stayed at this Hotel many many times over the last 20 yrs. Sebastian the owner is very helpful and its a friendly place situated in the heart of Shepherds Bush. (If you stay there go to the nearby "PATIO restraunt" the finest food ive ever tasted from a Polish restraunt with a window full of good news reviews. Abbey Hotel has been the location for many stays with both work and pop concerts. Led Zeppelin reunion concert and Cardiff City Wembley trips. It has to play safe so you pay in advance which is normal in London. Its clean, airy and friendly & if you are a reasonable person you will be more than happy. Parking is a problem with many London locations and I guess the solution is OK whilst not the best. I really fell in love with this Hotel and its been adopted by many of us from Wales. This has not gone unnoticed by the owners who always give us a great Welcome. Stay there a few times get to know the owners - they are the salt of the earth !and have often gone out of their way to help our stays be enjoyable. They own another Hotel also. The situation of the B & B (that's being generous!) was handy being opposite The Westfield Shpping Centre and BBC studios. The sheets were clean, but the rest felt filthy. The walls were grotty and chipped as was the furniture. No toiletries and towels like sandpaper. Breakfast consisted of 3 cold croissants and cold toast. The coffee was disgusting despite putting milk in which was begrudgingly given. We were spoken to rudely and asked if we had finished as other people were waiting. People next to us were given mouldy toast which they refused. Luckily we were only booked for 1 night and had we not had an engagement I would have found elsewhere.

Stayed for 2 nights. Had to pay in full on checking. Wished I had not!
Car park a joke as literally miles away. Given bad direction from lady at reception…second mistake…
Reception lady/owner has a real bad attitude - not very nice person at all and argues with other guests! Other people there were nice enough.
Could not sleep much…bed springs were about to poke out of the mattress and very noisy from reception lady/owner on phone constantly at night.
Would not stay here again!!!

Stayed here on 11th August. Location very good for the BBC studios and excellent shopping centre opposite. However, when we got up in the morning there was no water. Was told there was a little but there wasnt. Then was told it would be an hour until water came back (which meant 8am) and then was told 12 midday. So because we had to be out of room by 11 we asked could we wait till water came on, NO!!! So i then asked for a refund, NO!!!
Although there was no water, we were given 2 glasses of water to clean our teeth with!!!!!!
How did that happen then cos she told us she didnt have any bottled water when we asked.
Ok, these things happen, but you would at least expect an apology!!!!!!!!
The room was very basic, dirty, scruffy and lumpy pillows.
For anyone reading this, seriously think twice about coming here, its worth paying the extra money and go somewhere where you come out feeling relaxed and refreshed!!!
