As someone who regularly travels to London on business I'm always looking for an alternative to a depressing 'corporate' hotel. This fits the bill - wireless for laptop & smartphones is good, food was excellent and people welcoming. Rooms were clean and I had a relaxing night's sleep - decor and bathroom were a bit tired, but not unacceptable. Walkable to tube for most.

The food was excellent - we had the bavette steaks - and the real ale was in top condition. We stayed in room 1, it was clean and comfortable. The location was ideal (close to the main shopping areas and 20 mins on the Jubilee line to Wembley for the show). Staff were all very friendly. A very good value place to stay.

Great location in a wonderful area. We have stayed here twice and enjoyed both visits. The new owner is doing much to upgrade the decor and while the rooms may be next and with that the price, We find the rooms adequate and clean. The localle is wonderful and convenient. The restaurant is fine for good pub food which we prefer in the larger cities.
