I have stayed here twice on business and the rooms are clean, it's quiet (which is rare in London) and the location is great - 5 minute walk to London Bridge Station (if you make sure you leave from Borough High Street end). The breakfast is Continental and fairly basic but you can have a full English breakfast for just £5 so there is a choice.
The only thing that bugs me is that the basin in the bathroom does not have a lot of space around it for your shaving stuff etc - but that's not a major problem is it?
The restaurant is not expensive and if you walk 5 mins down the road there are a few restaurants and an M&S Food so no problems there.
even though I was on business I still like to try and see some of the City sights, I walked from here over Tower Bridge, past the Tower of London, through the City, past the Bank of England, up to St Pauls and back over the Millennium footbridge to the Tate Modern and back to the hotel in under 2 hours so it is fairly centrally placed on the City side of town.

Great location with easy access to the tube at London Bridge and walking distance to many sights. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful and the free breakfast is very good. Rooms are economy but nice with good bathrooms etc. The only real negative is the beds which I can only describe as back breaking. Similar to a pull-out sofa or possibly a prison cot. Fine for a couple days, but seeing as I was there for 2 weeks, I came back to the states in need of a major massage. Overall good so long as you don't mind the bed issue.
