Lovely B&B. Communication was great. Location is great. WIFI worked well, I had to communicate with work so it was very helpful. We loved the restaurant across the street too! We would like to stay here again next time!

The location is the best. When you consider the reasonable price for London, you cannot find a better place. The house is charming, typically English, flowers and paintings and vases everywhere. A bakery just around the corner is the best way to start the day. I will go there again and again...

I am most dismayed to read some of the previous negative review of 4 First St. I myself have stayed here on a number of occasions, and have to agree with the Home away from Home comment. Shirley is most welcoming and happy to help. Highly recommended.

4 First Street is a real home away from home. Just off Walton Street in Chelsea, and handy for Harrods and the upscale stores and restaurants of Walton Street, Shirley Eaton is a welcoming host who makes you feel like family at once, offering tea on arrival and lots of local knowledge and information. She is an interior decorator, and the comfortableness and the charm of the house reflect this. We had the whole of the second floor to ourselves, in a comfortable suite with a balcony over First Street (very quiet, no through traffic), and were given our own key so that we could come and go as we liked. The continental breakfast, served in the basement kitchen/dining room, is fairly basic.
