Overall hotel was very good upkeep (decor a bit dated). Flight path to London City airport near by and also London DLR track. Get noisy but does stop later at night once services and flights stop until the next morning.

Price was great and very competitive versus other hotels in London area. Right next to the ExCel centre with Prince Reagent DLR (10 min walk) and City airport very close by.

Staff were very friendly and room cleanliness was very acceptable.

Unable to comment on car parking as arrived by train then used public transport within the London area throughout my stay.

We spent two nights here and have nothing but praise for the hotel itself and the staff. The hotel was clean and comfy, loads of hot water and a good sized room. We ate in the restaurant both nights and both nights the food was excellent. The breakfasts were more than ample on an eat as much as you want buffet basis and very tasty. All of the staff that we met were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and very efficient. Excel centre only a five minute walk away. Nothing much in the immediate vicinity but we knew that before went booked so no hardship there. We will certainly go back again.

I stayed with some friends at this Premier Inn whilst visiting the London Boat Show in January 2011.

I was a little apprehensive at first, as I usually prefer 'proper' Hotels.

However, my friends booked the Trip and so I was taken for the ride !

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised.

The location is ideal for Excell, Literally walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room comfortable, well sized and the Bed was superb.

Plenty of Hot Water was also much appreciated.

My only complaint was that I found the room a little cold and the heater ineffective. However the friendly staff were happy to provide me with a little fan heater which resolves that very minor issue.

Overall, an excellent and great value stay. Thanks !
