“Perfect for bus travellers to Canary Wharf”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Stayed for a week while working at Canary Wharf. Great price (corporate rate), not much costlier than a regular hotel room (which I have stayed in 3 previous times) but with a ton of space. Guessing the apt size was ~800 sq.ft., with a full living room, and kitchen (stove, oven and I think a dishwasher.. small/Euro sized).
The flexibility is that you can have your own breakfast and if I had wanted to, I could have cooked my own dinner (after buying groceries at Waitrose or MS Foods).

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the water side.. the non-water side is close to the DLR and a colleague compla...

“Good hotel, bit too handy for the rail station”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

The hotel was much better than I anticipated, rooms well appointed and of decent size. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and service prompt. The two downsides to the hotel are that it does not have it's own car park (you have to use a public car park about 200m down the road) and the rooms on one side of the hotel the rooms face the docklands light railway with trains rumbling past bedroom windows by just a few feet.....

That aside I actually liked the hotel.

Room Tip: Make sure bedroom is away from the railway line

“Good central location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

Good location just off the central Canada Square area of Canary Wharf with all the main banks, Jubilee line tube station, Colonnade shops all within 5-10min walk max. Hotel is on one of the Canals and MUST ask for a front facing room as view good. Avoid back of hotel as looks onto the Docklands Light Rail line and material noise Rooms well equipped with mini bar, aircon, iron, safe etc as expected. The room I stayed in had a bath shower - not great. Part of the hotel also has apartments but haven’t seen these, only hotel rooms There is wifi but charged at c.6GBP for an hour. Full restaurant for breakfast and dinner though suggested that for dinner there are numerous restaurants / bars just outside the hotel. All in, good location, central, friendly service... much like any other Marriott.

Room Tip: Avoid second floor rooms facing the Docklands Light Rail... train passes just outside your room !

“Great location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We returned to Canary Wharf where we used to live and stayed at the Marriott Hotel India Quay. We were upgraded to the concierge floor and had a wonderful view of the area. The room was beautifully fitted, large flat screen TV, enough room for laptop and free wifi! Very clean bathroom with all the amenities. Very close to tube and shopping. We will definitely return!

“Great hotel, great location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011

A great hotel that makes for the ideal place to stay in East London with underground/subway links right by the hotel! Beautiful inside with fantastic staff! Surrounded by Canary Wharf that has a large number of restaurants to choose from and a shopping mall all with a short walk from the hotel!
