We stayed At the baglioni for the easy way to get around london. there are two underground stations high street kensington and glouster rd only a few minutes walk from the hotel and there is always a young doorman to help you get a cab. The restaurant is ok but take the advise from Gary the concierge his restaurants that he booked were amazing, Mothi Mahal was two mins wallk from the warhorse production at the new london theatre and the restaurant in glouster rd. l,estranger has the most amazing black cod.,

Was looking forward to an overnight break in London, spot of Christmas shopping, romantic night away from kids etc. However, we spent the first few hours of the precious few hours we had changing rooms. I commented on the pungent odour of cigarette smoke as soon as we left the elevator. The receptionist insisted it was a non smoking room & floor....our room was so bad that after 5 mins I started to wheeze.....not the reaction i waas hoping for!!! Our second room had no hot water so we were moved again....By now we'd had to postpone our dinner reservation as we still hadn't unpacked, let alone had time to get ready to go out for dinner. Our final room,306 was an upgrade but still had an awful stench of cigarette smoke...but at least we had hot water! The decor (of all the rooms) is tired and rather dated for a hotel of this calabre. The details that you'd expect, like dimmer lighting, individual spot lights in the bathroom to create mood etc is non exsistant. However, to be fair, the staff were always courteous and the rooms were clean. The most impressive thing about the Hotel is the ground floor decor...shame we went any further.

I have enjoyed every minute staying at this hotel. It is beautifully decorated, all the staff couldn't do enough to help and it is in a perfect location right across from Hyde Park, close to Kensington High Street & Gloucester road. Would definitely stay again!!

This is another of my favourite hotels in London. Its very nice located with the park just in front of the hotel, good restaurants in the nearby, two lines of underground and many taxis coming by.
The rooms are so my style!! Nice decor, last time they upgraded me to a jr. suite with its own terrace...!!! The breakfast is superb, one of the best capuccinos ever had!
