Stayed on the Telegraph deal and paid for breakfast. Location by City Airport although not really noisy, but a bit isolated. Lovely room & bed, staff efficient, disappointed in breakfast.

Had a night stay here last week and just loved it, again! Stayed here last year too and it never fails to impress. Great hotel, lovely and attentive staff, room was gorgeous, (we had a really large suite room) and spotless everywhere. The Restaurant was fab for both evening meals and breakfast, I can't fault the evening restaurant staff who were so lovely and helpful. Food was great too!

The location of the hotel may put some off but its such a greta spot. Right by the river so nice views and only a 10 minute ride on the DLR into the centre. To say its next to an airport its very quiet and well soundproofed! So dont let this put you off at all.

Another positive review for this hotel ! We got this on a £20 Telegraoh deal and paid £10 each for breakfast.The view from the room on the second floor over the river was lovely.
The room clean and even had a sofa and table to use.A big bed with nice crisp sheets.
All the staff were friendly and helpful .
The bar was pleasant ( a little overpriced but thats common in hotels) and the breakfast was plentiful.Cereals fruit ham cheese cooked breakfast cakes croisants etc.
Yes some parts were a little tired but we enjoyed our stay.Traveled down to Brixton from there to see Ed Sheeran. We left something in the room and got a call from the hotel to tell us .Phew! All in all a good stay

I am surprised at some of the negative comments about this hotel : we've stayed here twice and haven't been disappointed on either occasion. The staff are courteous and helpful, the rooms are entirely adequate for overnight or short stays as well as being clean and well-maintained. Breakfast (£10 if pre booked the night before) was well prepared and offered a wide range of choices.
The location may be just a little isolated, but it's straightforward to access by car and parking is free, We left our car at the hotel and use the DLR to get into central London...Prince Regent station is just a 5 minute walk. And, having checked out the following morning, the reception staff had no problem with us leaving our car there for another 4 or 5 hours while we went off into London again.
Overall, a good all-round experience...especially as this latest visit was a £20 Daily Telegraph deal! (But even at more typical prices I'd recommend it).
