We checked in with no problem, fast efficient, when I requested a room in the back for a more quiet she did so immediately with no fuss. Very clean, very comfortable bed and very quiet. I was concerned about traffic noise since it is on a main road, never heard a thing, entire time we were in room. We felt at home right away. We had lunch in the restaurant, it was delicious and reasonable in price, 22,00. Had a nice grassy area between hotel and pub, you could sit at a table and enjoy evening(spring/summer/fall) is only a 5 to 10 min walk from metro station Hangerlane(central line) Go left follow walking/bike path when it splits go left again then when you go through tunnel/subway go right continue a few minutes. There were signs in metro station for various accomodations. Decor was quaint, coffee/tea making facilities in room. Area was a little industrial but not too bad. Felt safe walking from metro to hotel at 11:00 to 11:30 at night although it was pretty quiet, not sure about past hotel a few blocks. Left some items behind, when we called they were very quick to retrieve and mailed it to us promptly. We would and will stay here again, staff was always fantastic.

I stay here regularly on business. The hotel rooms are nothing special but they are comfortable and clean. There is free parking which is unusual at many other hotels in the area! The actual pub it is attached to serve lovely food and the staff are very helpful and friendly. As a lone traveller I feel comfortable eating alone in the bar.

The hotel is nice and clean. The room that we got is next to the entrance door so it's quite noise, when people walk pass by you can easy hear their talk and the wall is thin, you can hear the next room talking. The water tap in bathroom is difficult to use, there's no mix hot and cold water. The staffs is friendly and helpful. From the hotel took only 5 mins walk to the tube station(Hanger lane tube station, central line). Nice and safe car park. Recomment to stay if you want free car park and want to take your dog with you.

We would like to thank the Fox and Goose for a great stay for my Birthday weekend. We stayed in one of the superior double rooms and were pleased by the standard and cleanliness of the room. We found the staff to be very helpful and polite, and the food from the bar menu to be of excellent quality and reasonable price. My only thought is that a kind size bed in the superior room would be nice.
