We stayed in the hostel for 4 nights. The hostel was okay though. You get the tube station just in front of it, so it's kinda easy for us to traveling around. The staff, Louis, he is really nice guy, friendly and helpful. About others staffs, we didn't really contact them much. The really bad surprise for us is the second night, we came back to the room and try to use the key card to get in the room and it was not working, so we have to get down to the bar at the reception and ask, then we got to know that they moved us to another room without telling us anything while our luggage still stuck in the old room. Therefore, at the end she gave us 2 key cards for the old room - to bring out our luggage - and the new key card for the new room!
We stayed in the 8 bed mixed dorm. Each bed got their own luggage storage under the bed, which is I like it a lot, but you have to bring your own padlock to lock it. The bed is making noise somehow, but it's actually not the problem. The problem is the hostel situated near the street and over the bar so it quite loud at night. If you have trouble go to sleep with loud circumstance you'd better have the earplug to reduce some noises. There are free wifi in the hostel, but the thing I've found out that the room that near the street got the wifi in the room, while the room that opposite didn't have wifi, but you can still go down to the lounge in the basement to use the wifi. If you go down before midnight, there is actually not many people so you can have your own time down there.
The toilet is okay, not that bad. You got it by the end of the hall for couple of them. Toilets and showers are separate. Also, they provide the toilet and shower together for 2 rooms, i think. The shower you have the proper hanger for hang your stuffs, but for the water you have to keep pressing the button like 30 seconds or sth. it was okay, I don't have problem with that.
The breakfast is included and I think it was actually good enough breakfast. You got coffee, tea, toast, butter and jam, milk and cereal also the juice. You can also order breakfast if you don't like what they provide for you for a small price, which is not that bad.
Overall, I think it's okay if you want a cheap accommodation in London. Well, you wouldn't go to London just to sleep or stay there at the hostel though. We left early in the morning, explore the city and come back late at night just to go to sleep. Trust me, we were exhausted that as soon as my head touch the pillow I just fall asleep right away and you won't even hear the noises outside seriously. They got free wifi and proper breakfast, also the place to store the luggage. And for me, I think that's enough.
