I stayed three nights in this hotel. in room 5 to be exact. the room was tidy, the window let all the air pass so at night we had to bust up the heat but still had a small wind in the back of the neck.
the sheets were dirty and i will not describe the bed itself... it was veryyyyy dirty. the tv had no buttons (they were probably ripped of like everything that was still in the room) and no had remote. the showers were disgusting, there was only one shower for 2 floors and it was filthy... like the toilets. so if you want to pay cheap, it's a good place to go, the breakfast is self (u can eat croissants all u want) but the hygiene is just not the hotel's speciality! so grab a pair of flip flops (to shower) ear plugs (noise from the shower or street) a long pijama (to avoid contact with the bed) and a scarf (to avoid getting a sore throat from the wind coming in)!
LOCATION PERFECT FOR TUBE. (Earl's Court 2min walk, Piccadilly 15min Tube, Victoria 5min Tube)

I went there for a 2-night stay with my wife in June. Well, the price
was very cheap (GBP17.5 pppn) for a standard double room considering its location (zone 1). But if I can choose again I wouldn't choose this hotel.

I stayed in room one in the first floor, facing the main street. Both
my wife and I simply couldn't sleep at night - the road was noisy with traffic, and there were always people talking loud in the kitchen. A lot of smokers stayed in the hotel too.

Besides, the room was not a double room size - it was simply a normal
double room splitted into half.

The toilet was alright, but it was a nightmare with the shower room.
It was simply, a small size store room fitted with a shower head in the ceiling... Also, you can forget about the "continental breakfast"
- it was just self served bread/toast & cereal.

If I can choose again I would definitely go for another hotel, probably in a less busy area near the end of zone 2 - because you will most likely be buying zone 1/2 travelcards anyway..

  • Liked — Well, there was wireless internet access available, and it was cheap
  • Disliked — The overall environment - the room size, the cleaniness, the shower, the breakfast, the noisiness of the hotel

I am very annoyed that this hotel is still open. They mixed up our booking and room 17 we first stayed in was terrible. Dirt everywhere, screws on the wardrobe door where handles should be, damp and mould in the shower which you had to hold in your hand as most of the shower fixings had rusted off the wall. Filthy toilet, curtain ripped and hanging off the curtain rail, stained and ripped bedding and a bed that was unsafe. When we were moved to room 4a it was worse. A room has been split into two and the "room" we stayed in was less than 5 feet 4 inches wide so you could not walk around the bed. The room was tiny and as a result there was condensation running down the window all night. You could not open the window as it is on the main road and was so noisy you couldn't hear the tv which we had to put on to block out the noise of the other residents because the doors don't fit and there are large gaps under all the room doors. The locks on both our room doors were loose and room 17's lock had been broken. Dangerous, filthy (I have flea bites) and just horrible. We got no sleep and the showers were tiny and dirty, the water was freezing and we were only given 1 small hand towel for three nights. When I saw I had bites, I checked the bed under the sheet and it was filthy. The pillows has names written on them in biro pen of the residents who stayed there - it must have been a homeless hostel. These feather pillows were at least 20 years old, stinking and stained yellow. I can't believe this "hotel" is still legally allowed to function. Please read and take the advice of these reviewers.

  • Liked — NOTHING - filth canot be excused

i stayed at the court hotel on the 23rd april. we didnt actually realise that it was a hotel it looked like a door going up to a flat!
as you walk up the narrown corridoor and up the narrow stairs you come to a little reception where you are greeted by a man. and was then informed we had to pay a deposit for a key each we stayed in rooms 16 and 18 and they were very different to what im used to as i work in a hotel. they are small rooms with a double bed and single bed in not much room for anythink else. the rooms were quite clean and the people where very friendly. we found out the bathroom and toilet was in the same room down the corridoor! if you were to sit on
the toilet you could of had a shower at the same time! lol! be warned
that when you book to stay there they say you get a continental breakfast but all this is, is toast and tea, but there is a subway opposite and do good breakfasts! it was cheap and close to earls court for wwe wrestling so we couldn't complain about the loacation. the cleaner comes round first thing in the morining so you know there is a cleaner! i would stay at the court hotel again.

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night, and I have to say, it is the most uncomfortable I have ever felt in my life.

My adventure started, when I opened the squeaky front door, I made my way up the narrow staircase and got to the small reception, I seriously thought about not staying and trying to find other accommodation, however, I was fatigued, and just wanted to rest. I got into my room and it wasn’t big enough to swing a cat, the carpet was ripped, the bed smelled of old stale cheese and the ONE pillow was rock hard.

I had travelled a long way and wanted to freshen up, so when I was looking around my room for the shower, I was bemused, there was no shower?

I went to the reception and asked where I could wash, and was advised toilet/shower facilities were at the end of the corridor, I popped my head into the room, and it about 1 metre square, certainly not suitable to get a pleasant shower in, I had to wander the corridor half naked with my towel around me to get to it, the shower was far to warm, and did not seem to cool, after my shower, I needed a plop, so I sat down on the pan, which to my horror was loose, so I had to perch above the pan, very annoying, the toilet roll was like tracing paper you used to get in school, slightly painful.

Breakfast, ah the old breakfast, when booking, I was advised of a continental breakfast, but when I got up in the morning all I got was 2 slices of toast and a cup of tea, I was totally famished, I felt like I had been duped, as I love my breakfasts, but this did not meet my standards.

On the plus side, there are plenty of fast food places local to the hotel for all the fast food grubbers, like (.)

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
