Nice people but the rooms were filthy, the toilet was broken, the bewdroom lighting didn't work proeprly, the dining facilities very dirty, the breakfast two slices of cheap white toasted bread and a cup of tea, the whole place is in need of a thorough refurbishment, there is pervading small of cigarette smoke and I would worry about getting out of the place alive if there was a fire with several mian fire doors propped open and no signs of a fire escape.

We stayed in this hotel in May for our UK holiday. It was a bad experience. We were very jet lag and looking forward to a sleep. It is very hard to sleep in this place, because the train noise is very loud, and it goes most of the night. Take ear plugs. The hotel is very central and in a good location, but the hotel is very dirty and in need of repair. There is a lot of dust in the rooms, the walls are very dirty, and the bathroom is not clean. Although one staff member was helpful, some of the staff were not helpful, and at times rude. Breakfast was basic. We had to stay 7 nights in this place pre-booked, although we paid for another hotel one night to get some sleep. Most of the people in the breakfast room looked exhausted every morning, I don't think many people can sleep well here. I was counting down the days till I could leave this hotel, as unfortunately it was making me feel like I was going mad!!.

This is far from the truth, the hotel is completely falling down literally;
dirty, full of mould, wallpaper and carpets torn. Dont even think about booking this dump!

ok where do i start? firstly we checked out their website and all seemed ok the reviews posted did not capture how horrible this hotel actually was when we arrived they booked us in the wrong room we had to hawl our luggage up and down the stairs (3 stories) to find the correct room the stairs where a death trap most were very loose and felt like they were going to give way if u have small children i dont sugest staying - the room smelled like they hadnt been clean/dusted in a while bad for asthmatics such as me theres layers upon layers of dust on the wall sockets and windows and bed are dusty tooalso theres were stains on the walls, rippped wall paper just overall very tacky presentation- the bathrooms where covered in mould with loose and broken tiles hot water is not kept on all day but they do say it is also the wifi is very bad- the beds are more or less broken you will get a back ache in the morning if you actual manage to get some sleep with the train in the back garden literally!! which runs every 2 mins!! they stop around 12am ish and start again around 4am the beds were ichy and smelt horrible the tv is crap also recption is bad breakfast is nothing might as well not have it - this hotel is not a bargain i would never stay here even if my life depended on it!! - this is why the hotel is so cheap because they dont even have the minimal standards, there are plenty hotels around and on hogarth road we checked out the next day after trying to get our money back and stayed at one of the other hotels a cross the street - but if u dont mind not getting any sleep and just need the equivalent of a cardboard box for a shelter over u then the green court hotel is for you.
