Pro's:

-Good location for Shepherds Bush Empire, its just over the road, with a good arm and a strong wind behind you its definately a stones throw away
-Clean Rooms
-Decent Price

Cons:

-Bathrooms are unbelievably tiny
-Noise from sirens and traffic very loud in room, I'm a deep sleeper and it woke me a few times but didn't bother me too much but my girlfriend didnt get much sleep.
-no customer service at all, I definitely don't need my hand holding or the over the top service you get at some hotels but without a lie, the only words that came out of any of the staffs mouths were 'yes' when i asked if the rooms was ready as we had arrived early, and 'thats £153'. nothing else, not even a 'here is your key, you're room is at the top of these stairs' or 'breakfast is served in the conservatory at the back between...'
-Breakfast is just toast or cereal

I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a sightseeing stay in London or for a visit of more than 1 night, but if I were to go to a gig at the Empire again and were just staying 1 night then I wouldn't bother looking at anywhere else to stay.

This has now been our second stay at the Grantly. We have stayed here twice due to the location in Shepards Bush as it is close to the tube, Westfield, Hammersmith/ Thames River, Nottinghill, markets, etc. Nice centralised location to get to and from London and to & from Heathrow airport.

The rooms are pretty standard, nothing special which makes it a good price, also another thing we like about staying here is the breakfast. When you are travelling it is good to fill you up as much as you can with a good breakfast and there is plenty on offer at the Grantly such as cereal, toast, and a boiled egg. and of course coffee.

we have had 2 different rooms which have been clean and meet our needs as we were pretty much just their to sleep. On the down side it can be a little noisy in Shepherds Bush at night but this didnt bother us.

We would definately stay here again.

We were going to a gig at The Empire and chose this hotel for it's location. We could not have been more pleased. Just a 2 minute walk across the green and you're there. We booked a twin room and were nicely surprised to find the large room had a double + single. The room was very clean, plenty of tea/coffee/sugars etc. The continental breakfast was sufficient .. no frills but very nice. I'd definately recommend this hotel for a stay in London.

The room and the bathroom were tiny but clean. I wouldn't want to spend anytime in the room apart from to sleep. If you need a cheap sleep with breakfast in that area, well this is for you. Looking for some comfort and quality, well, look somewhere else.
