We stayed at Odessa Wharf for our last week of a four week vacation to Europe. The hospitality of Maja and Delores was sorely needed by us weary travellers. My husband, son and I loved the apartment and the pavillion area that overlooks the river. The neighborhood is safe and there is a large shopping center nearby. Transportation is readily available by bus or even better....water taxi. There were at least three pubs within walking distance providing good meals. The one that is closest (Shepherds Neade?) is right outside the door and the food was great as well was the atmosphere (bright and clean). We purchased an Oyster Card that allowed us access to the transportation and this made getting around a breeze. Maja and Delores are the nicest, most helpful ladies you will ever meet. They are well versed in the area and seem to never run out of smiles. I highly recommend Odessa Wharf!

We (my 2 daughters, wife and I) stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor with the deck overlooking the Thames. We usually stay at tourist-centric places but chose this option as this had an RCI affiliation.

Our first impression of this wasn't great - it seemed to be located in a remote place with a reception that barely could accommodate four people. Theqre are no restaurants and the reception is not open 24x7. However, we grew to love this place during our one-week stay.

The location is a bit off from London's centre but is a 20 minute walk from the Canada Waters tube station and a 10 minute walk from a bus station. In addition, there is a local taxi service that turns up in a few minutes after they are called and can drop you short distances too, which works quite well.

The apartment was great - fairly modern and very clean. The lack of the Wifi signal reaching the room was a bummer but all residents have access to a lovely lounge and deck on the second floor (which was always empty) and that's a great place to spend some time and access emails and surf the net if you feel like it.

Above all, Dolores and Maja, the two hosts at Odessa Wharf, made all the difference. They were the friendliest and most helpful people manning a reception that I have ever seen.

A final tip for travellers from India using RCI to make bookings here - DON'T! You are better off booking directly as RCI rates are 30%+ higher and they add absolutely no value at all.

We stayed at Odessa Wharf during the weekend of the Royal Wedding. Amazing atmosphere in London, we enjoyed every minute of our four days. Although we spent long days visiting places of interest, museums etc. it felt very good to come 'home' to our spacious apartment at Odessa Wharf.

The children also absolutely loved it, they voted it the best hotel ever. We saw Dolores and Maja just briefly, but they were all smiles and very friendly.

We used the bus and the tube to get to London-center, excellent connections, even though it was a bank holiday weekend.

Tesco supermarket catered our breakfasts and we also enjoyed one evening in the Ship and Whale, excellent food.

All in all, we have already recommended Odessa to several friends and we hope to be back there ourselves in the near future.

Already missing the morning and evening walks alongside the river Thames,feeding the ducks and birds,whilst enjoying the breathtaking views.
