Having read the other Trip Advisor reviews before booking my expectations for this hotel were quite high. I'm pleased to say that the hotel lives up to its reviews. The hotel is fantastically situated, somehow it manages to be in a quiet area guaranteeing a good night's sleep, yet it's right next to Borough market and the London Bridge tube is only a few minutes walk. The staff at this hotel are all really friendly, they all took time to ensure you're happy and that makes such a difference.

Security is good, with access to the hotel being via a buzzer entry system after 11pm which we used to be greeted by the friendly receptionist. The room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. It's good that a heater was provided in the room as well as the air conditioner as it did get really cold at night (because of the weather!). Breakfast was the usual Premier Inn quality (great value for money) and service was just right. Really enjoyed my stay here - thanks Premier Inn!

Nice hotel, comfortable, cheap and within easy walking distance of the tate modern and all south bank attractions. Only a few hundred yards from a tube station and within easy walking distance of waterloo station. Excellent location, felt very safe even at night. The hotel is very clean and basic. Some of the rooms overlook a main railway line, but the trains are fairly quiet and didnt really bother us too much. Didnt see many members of staff, only at check in and the girl was very pleasant. Would use again if in London.

This is our second stay at this hotel and couldn't fault it really. The room (2nd floor) was excellent. The position is brilliant for getting around everywhere despite the snow on the weekend we were there. The only complaint is about the Anchor pub which is attached to the hotel. We called in there three times for a drink and had a bit of trouble getting served on all 3 occasions. We did have the breakfast one morning and this was great. I would recommend this hotel. The quickest route to the hotel from London Bridge station is to take the Borough High St West exit and turn right into Stoney St at the Southwark Tavern keep going as far as you can and turn left down Ckink St and the hotel is directly in front of you. It takes about 5 minutes.

Yet again another good night at a Premier Inn. We have been trying to get a room for a couple of years they always seem to be full when ever we can get away. When we arrived we were very lucky and managed to get a parking space in the hotel, there are only six. The location is superb, right on the river. You step out of the door and walk up river to the Tate and the London Eye or down river to Tower Bridge and HMS Belfast.. The hotel staff were very helpful and extremely welcoming. Despite being on the ground floor next to the road we had a very comfortable, quiet night in a very big bed. Breakfast was as usual very good and the chef showed my son a few card tricks. Breakfast was served up stairs in the old Pub with views across the river. I do not know why I am writing this as the next time I want to stay here I will have even less chance of getting in.
