“Quiet, snug, 1 minute from the Tube - just the job!”

Just home from a terrific 3-day trip with my wife and daughter seeing the sights of London. Coming up from the West Country and knowing West London, Acton was easy and quick to reach. Our family room was set back from the road so we were undisturbed by traffic noise despite being only a couple of minutes walk from the Tube. The free, safe car parking meant we could ditch the car for the duration of our stay and take advantage of the excellent Tube, train and bus services. Our family room was snug and included a fridge in addition to the usual tea/coffee making facilities and the en suite had an excellent shower. The staff were always happy to help and answer questions. We'd be happy to return. No complaints. Excellent.

“Handy London base with free parking!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 November 2010

What do you want in London at these value for money prices? Basic rooms but cosy, breakfast a little limited but service is nice, pleasant staff and this is a great base for touring London. It is right next to the underground on the Piccadilly line and very handy for everything!
My partner and I had a lovely wekend!

“In this price - not so bad :)”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2010

Hotel is very simple, room was medium in size, little bit old, bed was clean and comfty. Bathroom need some improvement because looks old and have a bad smell. Breakfest was served in Annexe hotel just beside hotel - simple toast, jam, orange juice, coffe and eggs - nothing special butt eatable :) Biggest plus of this hotel that is very close to the tube station (about minut of walk, 30-40m) so in 30 max 40 min you can get to the center. Price is very low so dont expect anything special in this place. Very good if you need one night not far from Heathrow airport.

“Location, location”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2010

Ok, so what do you expect for £60 in London so close to an underground and free parking? This hotel is very basic! It is dated and tired but the location is all!! It is less than 100 meters from Acton Town Underground station which (if you're coming from the west) gives great access to the city and the rest of London - It's a place to dump your stuff and go exploring! Breakfast isn't worth a hoot either

“if you're travelling with a child, best to ring them first before you book online”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 August 2010

I initially booked for a triple room and specified on my booking form that I would be travelling with an 18 month old toddler, but would not need a cot ..I previously stayed at other hotels (HIlton at London Docklands and Premier Inn Hotel a) and there were no problems with me travelling with my baby as I did not require extra beddings./linen for my baby.. Upon arrival, I told the MALE RECEPTIONIST that I have booked for a triple room, so he asked how many adults were staying, I replied 3 adults.. I was FORCED to get another room, for an extra cost of £40, I already paid £70 for the triple room, as the 18 month old was counted as an adult.. He was even argumentative, carrying two bags, a toddler and tired from walking, and searching for the place, I was so annoyed and irritated and could not understand how an 18 month old be classified as an adult!!! He even muttered that I should be grateful for he gave me a discount, it would have cost me £120 altogether for both rooms, but he's only giving it for £110 and he is not there to con me or other customers.. I was just so annoyed with him!!
The positive side about the hotel is it is close to the Acton Town tube station, just 2 mins walk from the station. If you plan to take the IELTS exam at Acton Campus, then this place will be ideal as it is 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, room is clean, Negative factor is at night , i guess it has not got double glazing on the windows as I can hear people walking on the street, and you can also hear the cars passing by.
The female receptionist, Mrs Rose Pamintuan was very helpful though, and even prepared breakfast for us earlier than the usual time which was between 0800-1000hrs...I guess she's the only good reason I would go back to the hotel if I have to..If you're travelling with a baby/toddler , maybe its best to give them a call first as the last thing you would want to happen as you check in is to be charged for another room especially if you're already on a tight budget..
