We booked a night at this hotel because it was close to the train station and we were leaving early the next morning on the Euro-Star. For $175 we got a basement room that was a little bigger than a coffin. Our little window had a lovely view of a broken toilet. When we asked for another room, we were told they were all taken. My husband went to get me water and the water was shut off. They did call us after midnight to let us know that the water was now working. They do offer breakfast, which they offered to have ready for us early. They must have forgotten because none was there. The man at the front desk brought us to the dinning area to prepare something for us. I'm not kidding you, every single chair was covered with a used rag. Needless to say we passed on the meal. One funny final thought-they have a sign what to do in case of a fire. My husband said it should read bend down and kiss your butt good-bye.

Although the room was small, we used it only for sleeping. The location is awesome, steps from Victoria Underground and Train Station. Breakfast is simple and good, plenty to eat and very European. Coffee, croissants, pastry, cheese, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs, toast, jam, cereals with milk. And a delicious and fresh self service coffee set-up. Also a very good cafe right next door. Staff was friendly and helpful, all requests were met. No street noise even tho our room faced the street. I have read some of the other reviews and feel like this hotel has gotten a bad rap, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again without a doubt. Having said that, I have stayed in many hotels in Europe and this is a good one although not really comparable to a USA hotel.

Clean room, polite staff, breakfast OK. Hotel was very conveniently situated, but next time will try to avoid basement room 104, whilst quiet rather lacked a view (see photo's)

Stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting London and had a good stay. Great location right next to Victoria station and good value for money. Good breakfast selection provided (much better than other budget hotels I have stayed at before). Staff pleasant and friendly even when we checked in at midnight. Room had good facilities and was quiet for central London.
