Our friend had booked for as this hotel but is was not our level. The hotel have good location and quiet street. Rooms are large but exhausted, lift is slow and stairway narrow, small. Breakfast is in the room and is really good. The staff is very friendly.

First time in my life i mad such a mistake in choosing a hotel to stay in. I though based on some of the comments of trip advisor's reviewers and the hotel's website directly showing the "amazing suites" services provided etc made me decide to book this hotel for my visit to London recently.

The suite was very small, the staff who was on duty when we arrived was a part time guy who knew nothing about the services provided by the hotel. We had to open ourselves the third bed( where we actually booked for a suite of three guests)..and we carrried our suitcases after the first floor elevator to our room.

Well i dont want to say more the only good thing was the location which was just 7-8 minutes walk to Oxford street , 2 mins walk to Baker street and just 2 minutes walk to Marylebone famous street , shops etc.

We looked at the rooms on their website and were very impressed - Luxury Egyptian cotton sheets, kitchenette, walk in wardrobes, designed by Anouska Hempel etc.

Sadly, the reality was a little different. The room was small and had the bathroom, toilet, kitchenette and wardrobe off to the sides, making the living space even smaller. It was not possible for two people to pass each other. The doorways to the toilet and bathroom were narrow and made narrower by sliding glass panels which you knocked every time causing them to shake and rattle loudly.

The room was on split levels making the bath sunken below floor level and very difficult to get in and out of.

It had a walk in wardrobe which you could place one foot into. Normally to walk you have to use the other foot as well.

The sinks had built in cupboards over them which made them difficult to use for normal functions such as cleaning teeth.

There were floor to ceiling blinds which seemed to serve no purpose other than to block off the view of the television from the bed.

The sheets had holes in them and there were dark stains on the side of the bed. The receptionist did not seem overly concerned about this.

Essentially the room had been overdesigned to an extent that functionality was sacrificed.

Great location and spacious rooms.
In my opinion too much furniture, which turns the spacious room into a less movable place. Loved this little kitchenette, very helpfully for small breakfast or the late snack.
Bathroom.. Good sized, though this power shower - bubble bath was not very clean. So in my opinion, keep it simple, cleaning will be simple too.
Time to change the mattresses !!!!
Tip for the reception... Very kind lladies, but put your personal phone off... It is so annoying when you want to ask something and you have to wait ..and wait ...and wait till you're done..
This hotel is a good spot...
For all these remarques there is a simple solution !
