A quiet cheap hotel, not perfect by any means but good value for money in a great location.
Room: good size room, with a comfortable soft double bed, space to hang clothes and a bedside table with lamp. Just what I needed so quite happy.
Bathroom: en-suite shower and toilet with small sink. Here things aren't so good. The shower was damaged, but it worked so I was able to wash. The pressure is very low at the top (room 17) so it was a pitiful shower, and the drain plug must have been blocked too. The sink cold tap couldn't be turned off without a serious twist, and in fact dripped all night.
Facilities: small kettle with tea provided, TV and bathroom soaps. Towels of course too, which were lovely and fresh.
Breakfast: unfortunately this starts at 7:30am so I missed it, having checked out earlier. I'm told it's toast and preserves.
Overall, this was fine for me. Around £20 cheaper than the other local hotels. Not wonderful, but great value for money. I would recommend it to anybody looking for somewhere simply to sleep.
