“very good value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

It is very difficult to find any faults with the B&B Belgravia. it is very clean, and furnished in a modern and contemporary way. I staid for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had a good size bedroom with an equally well sized bathroom. The room was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast was very good: full English with the usual sausages, bacon, tomatoes and beans ket hot in an oven, and a choice of eggs cooked to order. Having tried different hotels in the vicinity, this one is definitely the one I will be returning to.The only flaw is the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, but then there is a very good machine in the lobby which is free for all to use.

Don’t be put off by stupid comments – that is expensive – coz is not – is London hostel room in some doggy district cost about £100 or complains that when you open the window somebody can see what you doing in yr bathroom – hallo !! we are in London one of the biggest and most expensive cities on the globe !! you want nice view go for holiday to Cornwall or Scotland !
Best is location 2 min walk form Victoria station – 5 min form Buckingham palace – 15 form big Ben – 30 from Piccadilly circus – what do you want more ? full English breakfast cooked to order – wi-fi and possibility of sing laptop in launch- some small extras. Only one down is :lack of display with name of the hotel. Staff friendly and helpful.

“Still best value accomodation in London”

I've stayed here a few times and this time was for the office Christmas party. So needed to be cheap & Cheerful. Again, no problems, room is fine, clean. The Great thing about B&B Belgravia is the location as well as the price. I am sure you can get some ghastly place out in the dreary bits of London for less but this is right in an easy reach of the West End. Only a few minutes walk from Sloane Sq and the Kings Road. There is an NCP car park less than a hundred metres away. I've never had a problem getting a park there and also its outside the congestion charge zone. Victoria Station is only a short walk away if youve flown into London and taken the Gatwick Express into town. There is a great wine bar just a few metres away and some wonderful restaurants within easy reach. A taxi to the west end from here is under £10. I hate B&B's usually as I don't wish to chat with the owners about my life and where I have come from but there is none of that here. It's really just a little boutiquey hotel without any of the frippery or trimmings. Clean, safe, comfortable in a great part of London. The best testament I can give is that this is always the place I check for availability first when I have to over night in the big city.

Room Tip: Maybe ask for a room that is not facing Ebury St if you want quieter room

“Heart of the city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 December 2011

Being close to Victoria Station, the london sightseeing buses, shops and restaurants was a huge plus for us. The interior public areas were quiet and cozy in the evening where we used their computer and travel guides to plan our next day while enjoying a drink and snack. We had the basement room which was perfect for our needs... cool and dark. It was a bit noisy in the morning during prime breakfast time but we were up already. The breakfast is 5 star considering how hardy and tasty it is and included in the room rate. (We missed it once we moved on to Paris!) I am going back and will stay here again but admit the small name etched in the glass above the door does not stand out... we walked back a forth a few times before we realized we were there!

Room Tip: Basement room was a pleasant surprise... close to the main rooms, simple room with own bath, cool an...

“Disappointed”

I've stayed at the Lime Tree Hotel (popular with Trip Advisor) so I wanted to try the B&B Belgravia. It was not a good experience.

Annoyances That Can't Be Helped:
The room was an oven and the fan provided did little to improve the situation. Opening the window gave the people in the building across the street a perfect view into my bathroom and bedroom - not ideal.

The sink's faucet was bizarre; it was huge and high which meant I had trouble leaning over to wash my face because there wasn't enough room for my hands, forcing me to move sideways to avoid hitting the faucet with my hands, causing water to splash on the floor.

Annoyances That CAN and SHOULD Be Helped:
The service left a lot to be desired. The staff serving breakfast was sullen and impatient. When I pointed out the lack of computer paper at the computer station (I was told I could print my boarding pass there), the young man at the desk acted as though I'd insulted his mother and told me to "come back later". I did so later that evening, and still no paper. Twice, I was subjected to vigorous pounding on my door and yelling from housekeeping despite the Do Not Disturb sign being displayed. When I checked out, the young man at the desk didn't speak to me at all. He printed out my bill, yawned, and handed it to me. There was no "thank you" or even "goodbye".

The only good thing about this hotel is the easy 10 minute walk to Buckingham Palace. I will not stay here again.
