i can honestly say this is the worst hotel i have stayed in, in the last 10 years. it should not be allowed to call itself a `hotel`. you imagine it to be a reasonable hotel, when you arrive outside in Kensington, but no!! the reception area is very chic and boutiquey, but once you venture past the lift or stairs door, then it suddenly turns into a student digs, only student digs are ACTUALLY cleaner!! we stay for one night in december for the Olympia Horse of the Year show, and the walls in the corridors were actual chip board covered in old yellow wall paper, that were hanging off. the room itself was cold, damp smelling and not pleasant at all. there was no double glased windows, so you can only imagine how cold it was in december, and there was no soap or shampoo, but nothing on their website to tell you, you needed to bring your own. having spent a freezing night we got up for what can only be described as a full english slop of a breakfast, everything swam in grease, and the staff spoke hardly any english so didnt have any conversations with the customers they were serving. if every other hotel in the area was full, and this was the only one left, i would rather not bother going to London. travel lodges & premier inn`s in the area are much nicer, much cleaner, much friendlier and much cheaper, please shop around before you have to take this `hotel` as a last resort.
Room Tip: I can`t give you any tips to choose a good room, as i really doubt there are any in this `hotel`
