“You get exactly what it says on the tin....”

You always know what you will get with HIE hotels. Clean room, free breakfast, free wi-fi in lobby, a bar, tea/coffee in rooms....in fact all the essentials. This one is no different. It is not five-star, but it is also a very reasonable price. A five-minute walk from Hammersmith station and handy for Earls Court and Olympia but connections are good because it is on the District Line underground. Front desk staff were OK, not over-friendly, but foreign so not too confident with their English. Bar is expensive, a beer £3.75, but free newspapers in the lobby, and a decent free breakfast. They have sausages and eggs, but no bacon, which is very odd. Overall, a clean and comfortable overnight or two-night stopping place with plenty of pubs nearby for evening meals.

Room Tip: No point in being choosey - all the rooms are exactly the same.

“Clean Hotel, helpful service, not great amenities for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

Customer service was very eager to please. The room was clean, very tiny and drafty. Free internet in the lobby was spotty at best. Even the paid internet which was about 20 extra dollars a day wasn't very reliable. The lighting in the room had to have a key in the slot to make them work...very confusing and unecessary. No wake up calls, although I was able to coax a special one, for 1 day. Free breakfast was the same everyday but did include hot eggs. Could not figure out how to make the toaster actually toast the bread. Again, all the people that worked there were quite friendly and helpful. It's just the hotel itself was lacking. Easy access to the tube and bus station, and about a 40 minute tube ride to the airport. Probably wouldn't stay again if I didn't have to. Beds were very tiny.

Room Tip: I might look for something that wasn't a big chain. the main problem with this hotel were corpo...

“Very good hotel in Hammersmith”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

I stayed here in October 2011 and again in January 2012. I have no complaints. The hotel, while not in central London, was close to the Tube and great for a quick trip from Heathrow.

The rooms were of a decent size, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were also a good size.

I thought the included breakfast was very good, with a range of cereals, fruits, breads and hot foods. If you are worried about crowds at the buffet, then get up a little earlier! I had no problems with queues breakfasting between 7 and 8.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Beware!Check the price.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

I stay at this hotel often.this week my office made a mistake with the booking I turned up a day late, fair enough I had to pay for the missed night.I wanted a room for the following night, the room I should have used was empty they wanted to charge me £218".. £70/£80 more than what I booked for.the booking manager was impolite I dismissive and turned her back and walked away, the receptionist looked embarrassed. When I protested the booking manager returned,I asked as a platinum club member could I not have the same rate as the night before, she said quote 'agh that's just for collecting reward points and dismissed any recognition of my loyalty,I walked out.So much for loyalty, when it comes to the crunch it is irrelevant. The bookings manager needs a customer relations course.I remained polite at all times and to be honest was more disappointed than angry with my poor treatment

“Value for money”

Stayed here with for 4 nights in a triple rom with my wife and young son. Although not located in central London the location is great given the proximity to the underground and a quick trip to the main attractions. Very good value for money and breakfast is ok. Would definitely stay here again.
