“Will definately return.....”

I booked this hotel purely as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend as he is a life long West Ham supporter and had never thought to stay in the hotel himself previously. We will definately be returning regardless of the novelty factor for him. Every member of staff we encountered during our stay could not have been more helpful and being only 10 mins walk to the nearest tube station and about 20mins to the city centre by tube just adds to its benefits. Every room overlooks the pitch which is fascinating even if you do not like football - what would you see from another London hotel room unless you pay premium prices? a wall or bins? and as surrounding the bedrooms you either have conference centres or the pitch imagine just how quiet it is!Being situated in the East End there are many take away restaurants but no many t o dine in within walking distance. As I said earlier it is easy to access the city but we opted to eat in at the West Ham bar/restaurant. We were definately not disappointed the menu was varied to cater all tastes and everything we had was really well priced, cooked freshly and really tasty.Breakfast was served in the champagne bar on the same floor as the bedrooms and was on a buffet basis with tea, coffee and toast being the only items served by the waitress. Breakfast again was superb, plentiful and really tasty. We will def be back!!!

Room Tip: the rooms are normally hospitality suites for football games and converted when not used for that pu...

What a great hotel staff lovely and friendly loads of parking space not far from the tube station. Rooms are clean functional and the view is ace definitely for footy fans a real novelty. Food in bar is lovely and u gets loads of food. Breakfast really nice. It's mad how they run the hotel and on match days the hotel rooms become exec boxes great concept and such a great money spinner for the club.

“Good hotel, poor reception”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 January 2012

As we got the hotel there were 3 or 4 members of staff smoking infront of the hotel, which in my opinion isnt very nice to see. we waitied at reception for a good 5-10 minutes before the receptionist finished her cigerette and came in to answer the phone. After her 5 minute phone call she told us we couldnt check in for another hour and that was it. Didnt tell us where we could wait or put our bags which again, didnt think was that great. We came back an hour later and after about 10 minute we eventually got given our room keys.
We didnt expect the best of stays after that but when we got to our rooms they were lovely. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, great view of the pitch!
In the morning we went to the breakfast bar to be greated by a friendly guy who showed us to a table, asked us if we wanted coffee and toast with breakfast. Breakfast was very nice - full english, cereal or pastries. At checkout there was a different receptionist but she was equally as slow as the first.

I would recommend staying at this hotel as long as you're patient when at reception!

Room Tip: All rooms have a great view of the pitch!

“Really Unusual”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

London hotel, great parking and secure, easy to get to - the wow factor when you go into your bedroom and it overlooks the pitch is pretty good - if you a footie fan you wil love it. Good value for money.

“Good price for a London hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011

We stayed here because we had been invited to party. The room was nice and clean but quite dark. Tea and coffee in the room. Bathroom clean. Staff lovely and friendly. Fantastic view of the pitch if you are a football fan. Im not but still enjoyed seeing the pitch. The breakfast was ok. Different cereals and some fruit. The cooked breakfast was a buffet and was running out quickly and would take a while to put out more food. The breakfast was ok, nothing special, I was going to run up for seconds! Staff was coming round with tea but by the time we got ours it was well stewed. Not the best or breakfast but the hotel on the whole was good.
