Visited London to enjoy our Merlin Annual Pass, visiting Madam Tussauds, London Eye, Sea life and London Dungeons. Good standard hotel, better than the very budget ones like Travelodge. Free breakfast which was good standard but on the Sat morning people were queuing up waiting, for the scrambled egg. No one was available in or around the kitchen/dining area to answer questions and even knocking the kitchen door didn't help. After 10 mins or so when a staff girl did come out, her attitude was more of 'not another problem', instead of a helpful one. Her expressions said it all. Seemed to be short staffed.
Walthamstow central station is about 2 miles and cost £4 one way on the cab. Bus service (i think W11) drops straight in front of Sainsbury which is right next to the hotel. Couldn't buy travel card in the morning as no newsagent nearby, otherwise would have even saved the £4 on the cab journey.
Apart from the breakfast issue above, had a good stay. Family room accomodating all 4 of us. Nice size of sofa bed for our 11y / 8yr old children.
