I stayed here for three nights while visiting friends in London. The room was as described, with a kitchenette and small bathroom. The location is great, with the tube station (Gloucester Road) being on the District, Circle and Picadilly (line to heathrow) lines. The room was a little small, but as I was travelling by myself it was ok. Also the shower is interesting, as only a shower curtain separates you from the toilet! The kitchenette was good for small meals. For the price I paid it was a great location, a quiet street, and somewhere to sleep after a 24hr flight. It was also walking distance to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, and Hyde Park.

Our family group of 7 stayed here in late November 2011. In October, our plans changed so I had to find a one-night spot in London only a few weeks before our arrival with 3 bedrooms that didn't cost a fortune. Luckily, I found Astons and was very happy with my choice. Echoing other TA reviewers, the rooms were quite similar to what was advertised. Decent sized rooms that were clean and quiet each with a very small kitchenette facility that would have been useful on a longer stay. Certainly not an apartment as we think of apartments in the states, but a very serviceable hotel. My only complaints would be the very small bathrooms and lack of an elevator. Daniel at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous and the check-in/check-out experience was a breeze. Great location on a quiet sidestreet off Gloucester Road only a few blocks to the tube with numerous pub & restaurant selections within a very short walking distance.

I stayed here in November 2011. The staff was very nice. The room had a small kitchenette- stove, burners, micro and fridge. I did not use it because I was only there for 2 nights, but on a longer stay this could be a great way to save some money in London. The room was very clean. I had requested a room with a balcony which they gave me, even though I was only there for 2 nights. The area ( South Kensington) is one of the best areas in London. The hotel is a 4 minute walk to the tube. Numerous restaurants, pubs, shops and a good Waitrose supermarket are all less than a 5 minute walk.

A good value for a room in this very desirable area. I plan on staying there every time I go to London. 5 stars.

Loved our stay at Astons Apartments. Great location, close to subway, easy to get to from Heathrow Airport since you don't need to transfer trains. Clean, quiet, beautiful neighbourhood. Great price! Small kitchenette (not really an apartment). Would stay here again!
