I stay here for four nights last week on a business trip. Sometimes when visiting cities as a female on her own, some areas/hotels can be quite daunting, but this hotel is based in the nicer side of Victoria area. It was a nice residential area and I felt as safe as you could walking around a big city. Although not right beside a tube station, it was only about 6 mins walk to Victoria, so a great line for all tube connections. If you have time for a spot of sight seeing, it is only about 10 mins walk to the Westminster and landmarks around. I have stayed in a few of the Grange hotels and this is one of their nicer hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel, although I didn't use them so can't comment, but these are an option if you feel you don't want to dine out on your own. There was a cosy bar if you fancied a night cap. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff were all very pleasant. There are quite a few restaurants close to the hotel and also close to a couple of theatres if you are at a loose end of an evening.. I would definately stay here again and would recommend for lone females as well as any travellers, business and social.
