Stayed here at the end of November 2011, and although was cheap, I would rather have stayed in a hostel dorm! The man on reception was rude, standing there eating chewing gum and coughing all over the counter. The stairs leading to the bedroom are crumbling away, and I nearly fell down them. The room was dirty, window would not shut so had to sleep with that open all night, bathroom was mouldy. Did not even attempt to try the breakfast as did not want to catch food poisoning. Never again will I stay here!

It is disgusting and rude staff make it a avoid at all costs! When someone tried to follow us into our room. The front desk laughed as they watched us on the security tapes. Do not stay here.

Me and my best friend looked for a cheap place to stay and agreed to prepare for the worst, we didn't plan to be in the room that much anyway. We never believed it could be that horrible that some here had written. But when we got there it was even worse than our worse expactiations. First when we came they said that we had cancelled our booking, we had already paid! The receptionist was so rude and did not let us look at the papers because "we wouldn't understand". I argued with him and he told us to come back in two hours. We finally got a room BUT it rained through the ceiling in the bathroom, suddenly a loud bang and a flash came and everything went dark. We know to never mix electricity and water! But we were forced to sleep in the room for the night anyway. The day after we demanded to have a new room and after some discussions we finally got it. But throughout the week, the same really rude receptionist worked every time we came back to the hotel, didn't matter if it was during lunch time, morning or late night.

Don't tell yourself "Expect the worse so you won't be disappointed." Because this was worse than our nightmares!

DON'T STAY HERE!!!

Thanks to all the staff at the hotel that made our holiday so enjoyable.I stayed with my wife for a week and we had such a good time.Everybody was kind and helpfull..the hotel is very clean and tidy and so close to the tube stations...easy to reach everywhere.I would recommend it to everybody...we will come again next year.Thank you.
