“Excellent customer service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012 via mobile

My wife and I stayed for one night on February 9th. Having driven from Lincoln we were worried that the car park was full of works vans involved in the current renovation, on speaking with the reception staff they were wonderfully helpful and managed to squeeze us in. The staff were friendly and welcoming and our room was extremely clean as we have come to expect from the brand. Our only issue came was 9am the next morning when we were woken by drilling from the ongoing works. I realise that this isn't exactly the crack of dawn but it was my wife and my first night away after the birth of our daughter eight months ago and we were looking forward to a lie in!! Non the less our sleep up to that point had been comfortable and rest full.
On checking out the manager was on duty at the desk and when he asked about the stay we told him about the noise. He immediately apopligised and refunded our room rate! Given the noise didn't start until 9 that was the last thing I expected! However it shows how committed and professional they are there, and his friendly attitude is why I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel. The reovation is due to finish soon after which I would give this five stars. I have no doubt that we will return.

Dear Superted1396

Thank you for your review and I can only apologise again for you not getting your lie in. It is a challenge for us to run a hotel during refurbishment, but I hope you have seen that we are still committed to providing everyone with a great night sleep. We have now started getting some of the rooms back from the refurbishment and they look fabulous, so it will be worth the disruption in the long run. The works are due to finish early June 2012, so we hope to see you and your family again for a relaxing, peaceful visit to London Putney Bridge Premier Inn.
Kind regards

“Good Travel Inn next to Putney Bridge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Just stayed the one night as daughter moving into flat in Putney so this Travel Inn was very convenient. Efficient check in with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in Room 102, the biggest room in a Travel Inn we've ever had with floor to ceiling length windows covering two of the walls so a bit chillier than we've been used to in a Travel Inn as the heating seemed to disappear somewhere. Still, we were very comfortable and the room was clean with a great view of all the buses approaching Putney Bridge. Quiet enough to sleep though as secondary glazing.

Someone pinched our 'Do Not Disturb' sign during the night so the maid was knocking when we were having a lie-in which was a bit unfortunate.

Breakfast the next morning was usual Travel Inn standards - a good range of cooked, nice fruit and yoghurt with berry compote, cereals, juices, teas and coffees with pleasant staff in a nice dining area.

So, no complaints really and would happily stay again. There is limited parking as they are now building an extension onto this Travel Inn, but there is a car park around the corner which I think charges £15/day, or another up the road for £20. We didn't bother as we left our car over in Putney outside our daughter's flat for free as it was the weekend. There's also an abundance of restaurants and pubs within Putney over the bridge and also the Travel Inn (Fulham) side of the bridge aswell.

Room Tip: If you want a big room ask for Room 102.

Dear Cowbridgelady

Thank you for your 5 star review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay, even though there were a few small issues with the heating and the DND sign. Hopefully you will come back and visit us once all our rooms have been fully refurbished in June this year. It should help the parking situation once the builders have left the site. I also hope your daughter has settled into her flat now, and hope to see you in Putney soon.
Kind regards

“Great hotel to use as a base for a break in London.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

I was staying there for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the stay in the hotel. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and very efficient with their prompt service. The room was very comfortable and the bed was very conducive to a good nights sleep. One aspect that I found very beneficial was the proximity of the hotel to the underground station.
