My husband and I have just returned from a weekend break at this hotel. I booked it primarily because it was within approximately 15 minutes walk from the Adelphi theatre on the Strand where we had booked to see "One man two guvnors". We were delighted with our choice of hotel and would definitely stay there again. The room was comfortable with everything we needed - including an easy to use hairdryer which didn't involve keeping the button pressed down for the entire time! The bed was very comfortable and the room (207) very quiet . The week-end was bitterly cold and so we really appreciated the warm room with adjustable thermostat and the hot shower. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant on both mornings and this was excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold food including fresh fruit salad. The hotel seemed to be very busy but we didn't wait for more than two minutes to be shown to a table by one of the very pleasant and helpful staff. The bar area was also very pleasant for a quick drink before going out for the evening.
Being placed between the Waterloo and Westminster bridges, the hotel was ideally situated to be able to walk to most central areas. For example: Covent Garden was approx 20 minutes walk and the Strand only 15 minutes. Another advantage was the very well organised and supervised left-luggage room. Our train didn't leave London until 15.48 and due to this facility we were able to enjoy an extra few hours exploring the city before we left - rather than killing time staying with our luggage in the hotel. Incidentally, remember to allow enough time to travel by tube from Waterloo to Kings Cross - especially at the week-end. We only allowed an hour and just caught our train by the skin of our teeth! The only slight negative comment would be that there wasn't a great deal of wardrobe space in the room. It was fine for just a week-end break but we would have struggled a bit had we been staying for a week. All in all though we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel in the future.

stayed in this hotel towards the end of last year. stayed again with friends (their choice of hotel not mine), despite booking months in advance was given yet again a rubbish room. No sleep at all again due to the fans in the courtyard!! tried to change room, but apparently there was not another available. on check out i explained i had not had a pleasant stay due to the room allocation, Maude i think her name was - the receptionist didn't seem to care at all. not impressed for the £150 payed. will not be staying here again.

It was a good place to stay for the river and very close to the London Eye and The aquarium.
It is just across the river from the parliament buildings.
Very comfortable and the same as most budget hotels. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good but they kept forgetting us and the waiters keep their heads down so you are unable to catch their eye.

My wife, 6 year old son and I had a weekend break in London staying at the premier inn @ county hall. We were really impressed with this hotel and terms of value (for London anyway) the location (literally next to the London eye) the food (unlimited breakfast) and friendliness of the staff (from the people who checked us in and stored our luggage to the bar and restaurant staff to those who cleaned the room)

I stay away weekly on business in expensive hotels but this experience has changed my opinion of premier inns so next time we go away on a family trips the premier inn will be the first port of call.
