I greatly enjoyed my stay at LSE High Holborn, and intend to stay there again on future visits to London.

One thing to keep in mind when booking is that this is a student dorm, and thus you should not be expecting hotel-style accommodations. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room - there was a sink, closet, desk and chair, and bed. My one caveat is that the mattress in my room desperately needed replacing - I dipped down so far in it, that I ended up sleeping on top of one of the pillows to make it more comfortable! That is the reason I am giving four stars.

The rooms are set up in suites of six; all six share two toilets, one shower, and a kitchen. I absolutely loved the eco-shower; the pre-set water temperature was perfect, and I had no problems waving my hand to turn it on after each 6 minutes - it motivated me to shower quickly! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and silverware and it was nice to have a refrigerator to store things in.

Breakfast was included and it was a buffet-style, with many choices from fresh fruit, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, toast to choose from. I also loved the eco-friendly dishes and silverware, and the fact that trash was disposed of by type.

For the location, the price really cannot be beat. I only wish it were available year round!
