The hotel is a new built hotel so there is no surprises that it is in good condition.
The staff are nice and friendly, they have a car park that cost £7.50 for 24 hours and I think this is good value.
If you want Wi-Fi it cost £3.50 and though this is cheap I feel it should be free to guests staying at the hotel but that is a minor gripe.
The one thing I did not enjoy was the breakfast, we ate at 6:45 and thought the food would be nice and fresh but the bacon was tough and almost impossible to cut and eat and the eggs were like rubber so we felt that £16 for two breakfasts was a waste and I would have enjoyed a McDonald's breakfast more.
My sister & I stayed at the hotel as we were attending an event at The O2 Arena. The reception we received on arrival was excellent and very helpful. We ate in the restaurant before going out & again the service was great.
Our room was very spacious & comfortable, excellent power shower & plenty of hot water.
We booked a mini cab from the hotel to the venue which only cost us £8, much cheaper that getting a 'Black Cab'. The hotel arranged this for us.
Would definatly stay in again if attending any other O2 events.
We stayed here on a week night in January when we were attending an event at the O2 Arena.
We travelled by car from Eastbourne and the journey was simple and the hotel easy to find. On arrival we were directed to the underground parking which we had pre-booked (I think it was £9). A lift then went straight from the car park to the hotel reception. Check in was strightforward and we were able to access our room straight away at 2.00pm.
We asked the receptionist the best way to get to the O2 and were advised that a taxi would cost £8 - £10 and would arrive within 10-15 of calling for one. We decided that a taxi would be the easiest way to get there, although there was a bus stop nearby (would have to take 2 buses) and DLR station just up the road (would have to take a DLR and a tube).
The room was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Our outlook wasn't great - we overlooked the back of what I think was a bookers cash and carry and a wall with loads of grafitti - but we were only using the room for sleeping so didn't bother us.
We had lunch and drinks in the bar which was very welcoming. Food arrived quickly but was a little overcooked. Wifi was available in the bar and was free for the first 30 mins, then £3 for the next 24 hours.
Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a nice hotel out of the centre of London, but with easy transportation links both in to the city and the south of England.
As a 'yorkshire lass' travelling anywhere in London is an absolute nightmare and the journey to Greenwich Premier Inn was no different. However on arriving at the hotel the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and my room (as always in a Premier Inn) was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The restaurant served great food and the surroundings were very pleasant. All the staff were helpful and friendly and one in particular delivered great customer service, his name was Sam Cooper
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definately recommend this hotel to my colleagues.
