We stayed at this Ibis Hotel in London for its close proximity to Euston railway station. It really is very close but we couldn't hear the trains. We did hear faint rumblings from the Underground trains in the morning but not enough to disrupt our sleep.
The Hotel Reception,bar and dining room have a nice modern, spacious feel. Everywhere was clean and sparkling and the reception staff were very professional and helpful. Our room on the corner of the second floor was not big but adequate for a stay in London, let's face it, you don't go to London to sit in a Hotel room ! It was clean and bright with a comfortable bed and pillows. The bedding was crisp and clean and there were nice white towels in the bathroom which was also very clean. Shower gel and a small handsoap were supplied which was fine for us,as we take our own toiletries anyway.
We paid for breakfast when we booked and found this to be good value. There was fresh fruit,yoghurt,cheese, ham,cereals,croissants,bread for toast,rolls,muffins and also cooked items for an english breakfst included. Also the usual fruit juices,tea and coffee. Everywhere was very clean and the tables were cleared and wiped very quickly.
We left our case in the luggage room at the Hotel and returned for it on the way to catch our evening train. All in all very good value and service at this Hotel.

I stayed for one night to attend a family funeral. I booked a room for one and was pleasantly surprised to have a very large double bed. The room was very clean and despite the hotel being opposite Euston Station it was extremely quiet. The rooms are basically furnished but warm, clean and comfortable. My only complaint is for the £9.99 ex cost to access the TV which is a lot to pay if you only want the news, so I did not bother. The hotel is conveniently situated right next to Euston and for a couple of nights stay in London it is ideal if all you need is a base and bed. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I did not bother with breakfast so cannot pass judgement but the bar was a pleasant enough area. There is also parking if needed. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
