“Good value, good location.”

We stayed in one of the large rooms at this hotel as there was a group of us meeting up for a weekend in london for a friends birthday. the room was large and spacious and the addition of a balcony with seats on was a pleasant extra.
the hotel was close to the tube station, and had good local restauraunts nearby.
I felt that for the amount we payed, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and I would definitely stay there again.
Its not the ritz, and aspects of it are dated, but to be honest, if you want a really high class hotel, then pay more!

“Nice little mice”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 September 2011

We stayed there for a couple of days and it was just way too disgusting!
At the first glance it was okay because we had no high expectations but at the last day two mice appeared in our room and the employees were no help at all.

First of all they didn't want to give us a new or another room and didn't even want to look in our room because he was disgusted as well.

Just after a few hours he came to the conclusion that he might give us another room which was 1) with a damaged shower and toilet 2) we had to use our bedclothes because they had no clean ones! 3) we had to make the beds 4) it smelled like gas, ah and by the way he just gave it to us because our teachers talked to him, he didn't even take me seriously!

To put it in a nutshell, it was actually pretty normal and okay but it wasn't that awesome to sleep with those little roomies.

“Absolute Hellhole”

Avoid this place at all costs... i think they must have decorated one room and these are the pictures you see on the website, but the one we were in included, mouldy stinking shower curtain, complimentary cockroaches, disgusting state of walls, tiling and decor. Also there was a dodgy plug on the kettle which cracked and banged whilst in use, not to mention the 1980s tv worth about 99p with dodgy reception "satellite tv" yeah right... I recommend HIGHLY that you stay well away.

“Cockroaches, Stained bed linen.Disgusting”

My daughter is on a class trip in this Hotel and rang me and complained to me about the quality. Cockroaches in the bedrooms, stained bed linen and the breakfast is minimal with a slice of toast and one sort of jam. I will report this Hotel and can only hope it will be closed down. Its a disastrous health hazard and that is not even good enough for the homeless. DON'T STAY HERE.

“Avoid it if you can”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

Booked late so this was all we could get. Smallest shower I've ever seen. We booked a triple room. with the beds in the room we could only just fit the suitcases in as well. No lift so had to climb the stairs with the suitcases. On a plus the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel desperately needs a makeover. Only other plus is the location - it is handy. While not the worst place I've stayed at, it is one of the worst.
