“Shopping Heaven”

My 14 year old daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights in January and had the BEST time. We had a double room (small but perfectly formed)....actually really quite small but we're super organised so managed extremely well. The bathrooms are also very small but we spent more time out than in and for what we needed - it couldn't have been better. Our room overlooked Sloane Square - we loved looking out at the action below - noise wasn't a problem for us - so much better to be amongst the action with a bit of noise than miles away from everything in peace. The hotel room had an ipod dock, a playstation, nespresso coffee machine, tv, minibar, laptop (you pay for internet access - that's the only thing I would like to see changed. All our other 12 or so hotels on our trip had free access)....but if that's the worse thing....... There was also a DVD library and we borrowed DVDs at night to watch in our room (for free). This hotel is in the perfect location if you want to shop, eat and mooch. The tube is about 50m across the square and it's super convenient for everything. We would go back there in a flash. We had a room only rate which I thought was super value. The move up to a Club Room (to fit 3 people) is quite a steep increase so once my husband arrived - we moved hotels. A shame but if there's just 2 - perfect.

Dear Guest

Many thanks for taking the time to post such positive feedback about the Sloane Square Hotel on Trip Advisor. I am delighted that you and your daughter enjoyed your stay, in particular our ‘perfectly formed’ and equipped rooms and the hotel’s convenient location.

I appreciate your comments about the Wi-Fi costs and do take this on board.

We hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the future, and if you do require a Club Room do enquire about the rate as this rate may increase or decrease depending on availability.

Yours sincerely

“Great location, but the standard rooms are quite small”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

I stayed here for 6 nights in January for business. I booked a standard room, if I was going back I would book the next room size up, as the room sizes are quite "boutique"! Having said that, I really appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room, and the wifi worked fine which is really important for me.

The location is great, on a couple of tube lines, and a short walk to Belgravia (Victoria tube station). We had breakfast in the hotel on a few of the mornings, and the staff could be a little more responsive and quicker to deal with business customers who need to get moving more quickly than their pace allowed in the mornings (just take a hotel room number at the start of the breakfast or take the ticket for signature to our table more quickly to allow us to leave when we need rather than wasting time faffing with receipts when we're trying to get out!!)

Overall, would stay here again, I loved my bay windows and the view over Sloane Square :)

Room Tip: Don't go for the standard room if you're staying for a few days, the next room up isn't...

“2nd Time Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Having stayed in London a few times before, I have found it hard to find nice hotels with decent rooms, even with some '4 star' hotels. This was my second time staying at this hotel and it was even better then the last time. We arrived at about 11am in the morning and there was no problem with checking in this early, we also had our room upgraded! The rooms are small, but no smaller then any other hotel rooms in London. I found the design of the room meant you didn't really notice the size and also for the amount of time you spend in them, they're perfect! Beds are so comfortable, no problems at all. Nespresso machines in the room, so had decent coffee first thing in the morning. We ate breakfast each morning in the hotel & 1 dinner and all were excellent. The location is great for a bit of shopping, but also for getting to museums. As our flight home was later in the day, there was no problem with us checking out a few hours after the normal chek out time, which was so helpfull.
So glad I found this hotel, will be staying here for all future visits to London.

“Lovely!”

Enjoyed a wonderful relaxing weekend at Sloane Square. Walking distance from central London and with great shopping, bars and restaurants on the door step it is a brilliant location but retains air of peacefulness and calm. Agree with other reviews; the service is excellent and staff very helpful and friendly.

Really nice hotel with great staff. very close to the underground, shops, great restaurants ...
We had a very cosy room with view of the square but it was rather small for a superior room.
Very good beds.
