booked a twin room and upon our arrival received extremely small double room, this was soon sorted and chnged to our original request. twin bed, tv, bath with shower, thick white towels, helpful and friendly personel

This was only a one night stay as a treat from my daughter for my 65th birthday. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned but there was no need. It was close to a lot of attractions and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The comfiest beds and goose down duvets and pillow that I have ever slept in. The hotel is under going renovation so the lift wasn't working but that was my only gripe. Fulll English Breakfast which was included was wonderful. It set us up for the day. The waiter even brought my Grandson a cup of hot chocolate without even asking. There was plenty to eat. Staff were wonderful and well mannered. If I wanted 5 Star I would have paid 5 Star so the people who drag it down should book 5 Star and pay 5Star prices. You get what you pay for. Would certaily stay there again.

This hotel should either be closed or renovated thoroughly. It is not worth $90 a night. There is no elevator service. Rooms are tiny and dilapidated and the place looks generally run down. In the US a hotel like this may cost in the order of $35 a night if you have the stomach to sleep in it.

This hotel is totally misrepresented by the web site and Capital Breaks who we booked with . The whole place smells strongly of damp , the carpets are stained and threadbare .The room we given had awful black mould on the walls , rotten windows , light fitting hanging off the wall and the wash basin was cracked . The carpet was filthy. We did not stay . This place should be closed down immediately.
