We stayed here for two nights (Saturday and Sunday) in February, two adults and one eight year old child. We'd got the room as a Top Secret hotel on lastminute.com and were very pleased. We arrived at 10.45am on Saturday morning, planning to drop out bags off with the concierge, but were told that our room was ready, which was a huge bonus. The room wasn't huge, but very comfortable and everything worked as it should. Our daughter had a sofa bed, which was very comfy, too. The room had air con but no opening window so was a bit stuffy for my liking, but that's a very small concern. That said, we could not hear any traffic noise, which was good.
There was a small fridge in the room, so we bought fruit and yogurt for breakfast rather than paying £15/head in the hotel.
There wasn't much info in the room about the spa and pool - and when my wife and daughter want down to the pool for a swim (£5 for the two of them), it was full of unsupervised teenagers 'bombing' and splashing, so they only stayed in a couple of minutes before leaving. That said, the man on the desk gave them a refund and apology.
The menu for the Indian restaurant at the hotel looked brilliant, but sadly, we didn't get chance to eat there as we were seeing a show on Saturday evening, and it is not open on Sundays.
We got a taxi from Kings Cross station with our bags (£5.20), but otherwise during our stay, walked either to Kings Cross or Russell Square tube stations to get around (about 10 mins walk).
I'd definitely stay again - we really enjoyed our stay there.
