Good points:
- The staff were very friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my phone charger in my room and so I rang them up to see if I could get it back. They were diligent in looking for it and phoned me back numerous times to update me. They kept it behind reception for me and I was able to go and pick it up when I was next in the area (they also offered to post it to me).
- The rooms were well-appointed with decent-sized beds, flat screen TVs, writing desk, wardrobe, safe and onsuite bathrooms.
- It's very good value for money.

Bad points:
- My room was very cold at night and I couldn't switch the radiator on.
- The shower didn't drain properly so it flooded the bathroom floor.
- The breakfast is continental only.

Overall, I would recommend staying here as it is a great price and location and the staff are very helpful.

I have had many good and bad experiences in the old Hotels in Victoria. This hotel is a change from the norm. Clean, spotless, and a delight to stay in.

In a road where you take your pick this really is the ace in the pack.

If you are a tourist and very much price and location driven then this might be a good choice. The rooms are not too great. Old carpet, small bedrooms etc. First I saw a room in the basement but it was really a dark basement room so I chose to have the room upstairs. Although there were two double beds it was too small and I could hardly walk around the bed, especially because there was a low roof. The staff was friendly though and tried to help where possible. It seems it is more like a hostel. There is for example no fridge in the room but drinks can be bought at reception. Your suitcases can be stored on your day of arrival/leaving but you get the key and bring them yourself downstairs and everybody else can then get to them. Normally in a decent hotel not a problem but when you are in a budget hotel with tourists I doubt it is safe. Also the room is mouldy so be careful where you put your suitcase and I think the cleaners have access to the room all day. I had some issues with the hot water, probably because I was on the top floor. Once again, if you want a good location this area is great, walking distance to Buckingham palace and victoria station from where you can reach anything by bus and tube.

Hi, we are two 21 years old italian friends, that went to London for few days after Christmas to visit the city.This is a very nice hotel and it has fully satisfied our needs. It's very close to the Victoria tube and rail station, so, very close to the main items of London... The service was very good; the room and the bathroom were quite small, but very clean, warm and comfortable. The time we spent in our room was very little,so it doesn't matter if it was small beacuse we were there just for sleeping and having breakfast...we were always around the city!!
The staff was kind, helpful and friendly. The last day we needed to leave our baggage there for few hours, and was available a free luggage room. The breakfast room was very nice and the food was a lot! We advice you this hotel if you are looking for something nice and in central London.
