We stayed a second night in London as Dolphin House (where we'd stayed the previous night) was out of budget. This hotel is centrally located and close to Victoria Station. The staff were efficient and helpful. We stayed on the first floor facing the road. The family room (one double bed, one single) was cramped, hot and stuffy due to the radiator being cranked up. Problem was solved by opening the balcony door during the day and we suffered during the night.
The ensuite was basic but clean, the room dark and contained a small open cupboard to put our gear away. If you're only in for the night, it's a value option for sleeping.
We'd picked up a B&B deal and were horrified at the full walk-in off the street price, so if you have to stay here, get a Trivago or Late-rooms deal to get better value.
Breakfast was in a packed dining room not much bigger than our bedroom. Approximately sixteen tables and chairs with very little room to swing a cat. Food was reasonable. The kitchen staff were lovely.
The hotel is close to the Tate, Pimlico and Victoria Stations - walking is easy. Buck house and Knightsbridge are close by. We found using the underground via Pimlico better than walking through Vic bus and train stations.
