“Fantastic home away from home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

I would like to begin by saying thank you to everyone that made my stay at The Pelham a true delight. I had the luxury of staying here during the Les Clefs D'Or Congress a couple of weeks ago and am I ever glad that I did! Everyone that I encountered exuded genuine and sincere hospitality, without being over-bearing, hovering, or intrusive. They anticipated my every need and made me feel so welcome. I was on a first name basis with everyone by the time I had to go home! I will definitely be back.

Room Tip: I loved my room, #402. The views over the rooftops were surprisingly peaceful!

“Wonderful little hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

I was traveling to London for some business meetings and decided to extend my trip over the weekend. The staff were wonderful. My rooms was a little small but the decor was gorgeous. It made all the difference to come back at the end of teh day to a pretty room, not just some Holiday inn box. The Reception girls were so happy all the time- they were ready to talk and gave me some good tips for shopping. The Concierge was great too- I asked for some recommendations for a musical or theatre and he was able to get me a really good ticket on short notice.

I would highly recommend the Continental Breakfast- nice and simple. Just what you need to start the day. The Restaurant staff were efficient and the Supervisors during Dinner were quite lively.

Overall, this was a wonderful hotel and the staff gave such personalised service thst it was an absolute joy to come back at the end of the day. I will definitely be going back to the Pelham on my next visit to London and I am already planning a romantic weekend away for myself and my boyfriend.

“Very average hotel but nice rooms for London; war horse debachle with no apology”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012 via mobile

Wifi is $30 a day, when asked for a cup of tea while you wait for your room you will be charged excessively, it is not a nice gesture from staff for making you wait 30 min to check in. Lastly when the concierge gives you the wrong time for war horse and then blames it on an old pamphlet from last summer...even though you asked him to call, then can't muster an apology, just sign your bill and know you will not be coming back. Good location, bad service.

“Beautiful hotel in the heart of South Kensington”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

As with other firmdale hotels the rooms are beautifully appointed and the bathrooms are superb. The hotel is right next to the Natural history and Victoria and Albert museums. The staff including the receptionists have been very responsive. The restaurant is first rate and the breakfast is one of the best in town.

Room Tip: Try to get a room that does NOT face Cromwell place - even with soundproofing the buses are audible

“Still wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

My boyfriend and I stayed here over New Years as we did last year too, and the hotel was still wonderful, in fact I would say it was even better this time around, especially the restaurant. I am such a big fan of breakfast and the choice at the Pelham is world class - eggs benedict still being my favorite, it was superb!

I am not a city person by nature so staying at a hotel like The Pelham is what really completes a London trip for me ... knowing I have a cosy room to go back to after having survived the shopping crowds.

I look forward to my next stay!
