Just spent 3 nights at this hotel after reading on their web site that it had undergone refurbishment. The truth is they are closing and hopefully new owners are due to refurb but wasnt able to get any more information about when this was to be. The room was awful, the tiniest sink which had three great long cracks in it, tiny shower fixed to wall and we have thrown away better televisions! Staff really not interested in the guests but that is understandable. Room didnt get serviced on the 2nd day which wasn't a big deal but you would expect better service. Breakfast was ok so long as you didnt want anything hot, cos it wasn't. Terrible shame because the location is good lets hope the new owners spend some serious money on it.

Central location with café's, Restaurants and Bars close at hand as is the Natural History Museum. I had stayed here before when it was a Moat House and chose for the location rather than the decor, but was pleasantly surprised as the Hotel has been decorated throughout since becoming the Grosvenor Kensington. Had a room with Jacuzzi and the room was very comfortable. Reception staff better than my last stay and the choices at breakfast can keep you going all day. Plus Wireless Access made an all together pleasant 3 night stay, would definitely choose to stay here again.

We stayed here for three nights ont he front end of our holiday in London. Purchased the room through getaroom.com at about $92/night US which included hot breakfast. The rooms are small and older, but clean and the atmosphere for a visit to London is great. We had requested a double room, which was not available, so the staff changed two twins into a double for us - very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is only one block from the Kensington station on the Picadilly line from Heathrow and just a few blocks from Hyde Park, British Museum, and Victoria/Albert Museum. Good Indian restaurant across the street. Definitely recommend and will try to stay here on next visit.

Do not expect much from this hotel. The "three star" says it all. It truly is a 3 star hotel, however, for the price and location it is extremely favorable. I will definitely stay there again for my business travel purposes but not for leisure as I would want something more pampering and relaxing.

The room I stayed in was extremely clean and the bathroom as well.
