One (Monday ) night stay only, booked at short notice to meet up with wife's American cousin flying in from New York on business. She was staying at The Savoy ( just across the road) but unfortunately our budget did not stretch that far !! But we were not disappointed. Ignore the external scaffolding/tarpaulin, ( we were not disturbed by work or noise ) inside both public rooms and bedrooms are clean, modern and bright. Staff very friendly, asked for side room (Exeter Street) no problem, it was quiet with view.Recommend pre-dinner drinks/cocktails in The Mask Bar half price Happy Hour(s) 5-10pm.!!! Buffet breakfast was included, wide choice, well presented and regularly replenished in a bright, unhurried start to the day. As " locals " we chose this hotel for convenience, but for visitors to London from other parts of UK or overseas it is ideally located for theatres, galleries, museums, restaurants, bars, and many of the not to be missed " sights and places of interest " in London many within walking distance all at a reasonable City Centre price.
Room Tip: Side room (716 ) overlooking Exeter St. ( at time of writing no external works )

Dear Guest,
We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Indeed our prices are somewhat lower than our very close neighbours at the Savoy, and although we are currently refurbishing the exterior of our hotel it was good that you were not disturbed by any noise. Our guests privacy and comfort are our main concern during our renovation project.
Regards,
David
