we were greeted by very friendly reception staff who immediately gave us a free upgrade to a better room, well so he said, the room was ok bed was very big queen size. The room was lovely and warm when we got in it, just aswell as it was freezing outside. The bathroom was very small and a bit tatty, nice shower though. We were told upon arrival they had an offer on breakfast £10, instead of £15 buffet style. I would'nt bother if i were you the english breakfast was help yourself from those buffet style tins and it wall all stone cold, cold beans and eggs and sausage yuk!! deffo not worth £10.00 let alone £15 they would probably get into quite a lot of trouble if a health inspector did a random check on the so called hot breakfast. I probably would go back if just for the location.

We had stayed here several years back and returned because of the location. We were very impressed with the upgrades and the desk staff were very helpful. We had two doubles but they upgraded one of the rooms as they didn't have two rooms near each other ready. Our larger room was a nice size but the other room was too small for comfort. Also our bathroom toilet kept gurgling and we were afraid to use it. We reported it but had to ask again the second day. I would stay there again.

Great location, a short walk to most of the main areas, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly circus etc which is ideal. The room was very nice, but very small. The bathroom contained a large shower but no shower door! Was running late so unable to inform staff until the following day. Also the shower floor filled up with water whilst showering and took ages to drain. I made them aware of this so I am sure that this problem is now resolved. Went there for my birthday. Having read reviews on here, my wife emailed the hotel in advance asking for a room on a high floor for the views, but she received no reply. In all a nice hotel, and due to location would stay again.

I stayed in this hotel for only 1 night but have some good and bad points to make. Upon arriving I tried to check-in and was told that the hotel was overbooked by 10 and that I may be moved elsewhere. I was really to blow but lucky they found a room for me. I was with my friend and they gave us a double room when we booked a single. When I told the reception we wanted a single room they sent up someone who spilt the beds into 2 singles which was fine.

The hotel is very nice and the room we had was mostly clean. The bath was a bit dirty but the shower soon cleaned it.
