What an amazing location. Knightsbridge which is home of all of the designer shops and of course, Harrods. The rooms have all of the expected mod cons, but 2 really annoying oversights. The hairdryer in the bathroom is one of the old fashion plastic blow tubes, which you would be at home in a cheap fitness club, and no electrical sockets next to the bed. I need to charge my iPad and phone close by, but I had to make do with having them in another room. I stayed in a beautiful suite, so I was spoilt with a large lounging area, but I'm sure the standard rooms are of the same standard and spec, just smaller.

Wonderfully located just blocks from Harrods and other department stores, Jumeirah Carlton fails to deliver. Rooms are standard for a five star hotel. I was very dissapointed with the state of the bathrooms. All night I had to suffer a horrible noise coming from the bathtub drain. When I complained, they appologized but did nothing further. Also, I was outraged by the phone charges for even local (and even toll free calls). Some hotels still think that business travellers do not care about value. They are wrong.

I was ib Jumeirah Carlton towers this week. The loxation is excellent in one of the poshiest areas of London.

The ception staff is very helpful. I cant say the same for the restaurant staff, for they were too busy doing other things than serve.

The rooms are very small fpr a hotel this caliber but comfortable. Poor lobby area for you sit at the tables and someone comes to sell you some deserts or drinks immedialtely. For a hotel this big, you need better lit up casual seating areas which the current lobby deserves.

Great gym.

The hotel is highly recommended for both a short stay as well as for a long stay in the city of London.

Great breakfast and the rooms were stunning (especially the upper leveled floors which had panoramic views of the city).
