Excellent location if you're visiting London. Picadilly Circus just a 2 minute walk, and everything within 10 minutes; Trafalgar, Buckingham Palace, Selfridges and shopping. Hotel staff was very friendly, the room we had was excellent, and the breakfast was well done. A bar on premise open late was very handy for a late night drink after a day and night in London. Definitely will stay again.

Had the pleasure of staying with family in teh London Meridien Hotel. What a great hotel. Top location, could not be better. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Though the hotel was fully booked we where able to get connecting rooms, which is definitely a plus when you have kids. Had 2 breakfasts, very nice buffet, original stuff. Had also a diner, high quality.

Hotwire sold this as a 4.5 star hotel. I paid $425 a night, and it is just as bad as 2 years ago when i last stayed here.

Le Meridien is certainly not a 4.5 star hotel.
Oh it looks nice, but it is only lipstick on a pig.

The infrastructure is ancient, the staff are lazy and is a terrible place to stay.

They insisted that i booked a room with single beds. And that is what i got. They offered the possibility of a double bedded room, but not for several hours, which would be 6 pm on the day i checked in.

The tub wouldnt drain, so the engineer told me o simply pull the broken plug out of the drain,instead of repairing it. I insisted that he properly repair it.

There were no visible working outlets to plug any charger into, as a result , my phone is marginally charged.

The pay wireless service is weak in the room.

The a / c in the room was shut off at night centrally and i barely slept .

This is a 3 star at best. Poorly run, poorly renovated,

Stayed here for three nights, every aspect was really good, the most painstaking check in I have ever had, friendly yet ultra professional. Rooms were immaculate, I saw other reviews about the lift and room key cards, an excellent feature and no problems whatsoever, you just need to a wee bit of intelligence. Restaurant was fantastic both for dinner and breakfast. Concierge really knowledgable, ask about the passes to both the Tate museums. Centrally located walking distance of major attractions and some theatres easy acess to tube and bus routes. Would highly reccomend this Hotel to anyone. Spa and fitness areas were exceptional
