Hotwire sold this as a 4.5 star hotel. I paid $425 a night, and it is just as bad as 2 years ago when i last stayed here.
Le Meridien is certainly not a 4.5 star hotel.
Oh it looks nice, but it is only lipstick on a pig.
The infrastructure is ancient, the staff are lazy and is a terrible place to stay.
They insisted that i booked a room with single beds. And that is what i got. They offered the possibility of a double bedded room, but not for several hours, which would be 6 pm on the day i checked in.
The tub wouldnt drain, so the engineer told me o simply pull the broken plug out of the drain, instead of repairing it. I insisted that he properly repair it.
There were no visible working outlets to plug any charger into, as a result , my phone is marginally charged.
The pay wireless service is weak in the room.
The a / c in the room was shut off at night centrally and i barely slept .
This is a 3 star at best. Poorly run, poorly renovated,
Room Tip: Stay away from this expensive place. Go to the IC London Park Lane or Sofitel st James. They live...
