We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of January. Unfortunately our stay was not what we expected given the good reviews that we had previously read. On arriving at the hotel mid afternoon on a cold january day, our room was absolutely freezing! We asked the receptionist about this and he said that the heating would be coming on at 4.30pm. On returning to the hotel later that day the room had not really warmed up, largely due to the fact that the windows and patio doors were single glazed and so we could feel a draft constantly blowing through. Needless to say we didn't get much sleep either night due to this and also as the bed was so small, our feet were hanging over the edge! Also being on the ground floor next to the cleaning cupboard was not a great location at 7.30am due to the banging around outside our room. The tea and coffee in the room was not refilled so no chance of a hot drink to warm up! Also the breakfast was very average. There was not much choice and despite getting to breakfast for 9.20am (breakfast served until 9.30), the food and drink was being taken away at 9.40 which made us feel like we had to rush. Overall we did not enjoy our stay at the Amsterdam hotel and would not return if we were to visit London again!

We stayed as the Amsterdam hotel for 4 nights in December. The staff are wonderful! They will do their best to help you with any arrangements they can. The rooms are immaculately clean! We stayed in the penthouse apartment which had plenty of room, but the other rooms looked quite small. We would definitely recommend staying in the apartments as the sitting rooms provided much needed space. The hotel requires lodgers to hand in their keys when leaving the premises, which worried us at first. However this was not a problem in the end as any valuable can be left in the hotel safe. The location was quite good located a minute from the earls court train station which provides easy access to all of the tourist destinations. However we found that the Earls court area was a trifle dirty. Overall we thought the hotel was very well run, and would defiantly recommend this hotel for the price, however we would probably choose to stay in a nicer area if we went back to London.

Nice, clean and the staff were very accomodating. Kamram at the front desk couldn't have given a nicer welcome or been more helpful!

I stayed at the Amsterdam Hotel for 8 days on a business trip. The hotel can be easily reached from Heathrow airport via Piccadilly line of the London underground. It's just 2 minute walk from the Earl's court tube station.

The check-in was breeze and the room was spotlessly clean! They have free Wi-Fi in rooms which was really good. The room had all the basic amenities that you need for a comfortable stay and that's what you expect when you're out most of the day and all you need is a good night's sleep and a great shower.

Hotel also has a tiny elevator, but nevertheless, it does the job. It's always better than climbing the steep stairs.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was very basic but adequate. I must mention that the croissant I got was stale, so then onwards I avoided eating them. I read about this in other reviews and eventually I experienced the same. The management should take a serious note of this issue since it is affecting their reputation.

Hop out of the hotel and you'll find plenty of cheap restaurants, cafes, fast-food chains and supermarkets. So, there are lots of options to satisfy every taste bud.

Overall, Amsterdam hotel offers great value and I look forward to staying here again.
