My partner and I booked this for one night at the last minute for £120 for the night room only. First appearance of the building and look of reception was great as were the very friendly front desk staff but the room - oh dear. Arms outstetched my fingertips touched both walls. A double bed was sqeezed in and was against the wall so someone on that side had to climb over the other person to get out of the bed. The flex on the kettle didn't reach from the table it was on to the plug socket below so we had to put the kettle on the floor. The kettle didn't fit under the tap in the tiny sink in the miniscule en-suite so we had to fill it by decanting water with multiple fills of the toothbrush mug. The windows were sash, single glazed, rattled, were drafty and let in all the 24 hour traffic noise from Cromwell Street below. I tried to deaden the noise by wetting towels and shoving them over the gaps but to no avail.
Breakfast was nice but we had to pay extra for that.
I suppose this place sells a rubbish, cramped noisy room like this on the basis of the location but no - a room is rubbish no matter where it is and if you can't plug in the kettle whoever designed it should be fired.
